About Arcus Dictionary Pro (ADS)
Arcus Dictionary Pro (ADs) is a fast English dictionary with 185000+ words, definitions and synonyms available offline.
There are two pro versions, one paid and one supported by ADS. This is the AD supported version.
The pro versions have extra features compared to the basic free version: search web dictionaries, voice search, random word widget, 10,000+ more definitions and sample sentences where available.
It is designed to be easy to use and give you the top and most common results for your query. All you need to do is start typing to get results instantly. By default the more probable matches are displayed first although there is an option to display results purely alphabetically too.
The dictionary also supports pronunciations for definitions, a favourites feature, word hyperlinking, sharing and customisation options.

This Arcus Pro version of the Arcus dictionary has a few things I really like. First, it opens with a search line rather than having to press the magnifying glass icon. Second, it has an option to activate an adult content filter. As a father of 7 I very much appreciate the thoughtfulness of including this feature. The default, if not the only, presentation mode is a night friendly dark background. Restful, classy. And finally, the adds, a single line block, not multiple adds covering half of the page.

When I tap on the app icon it stops and a screen opens saying unfortunately arcus dictionary (ads) has been stopped. Pls fix it I loved this app but this new update doesn't support my device.

i just love this app! but there's a pronunciation that's a bit confusing: "isosceles". On a friends phone the last 'e' is not silent but it is silent on mine so it pronounces "isosels" whilst it pronounces "isosilis" on my friends phone.

It's not perfect but it does the job ( most probably because I do not have the pro version). I use it quite frequently when definitions need some clarification. I am very satisfied with the performance of this app.

It's easy to use and packs a lot of words. Loads and works smoothly, can be used offline, doesn't take much memory and doesn't require additional downloads. Multiple other features too. More words and improved definitions would be nicer though. Still a very useful app nonetheless.

I have found it very easy to use in comparison to others but if only it had spelling options it would be of grt help to type and find the meaning promptly. But all in all its the best user friendly app !!
