Archos Remote Control

It's an ok app, just a shame about the tablet. G10 promised so much and was fine but build quality very poor. The app doesn't always work.

Desperately need to add a search button. Endless rebooting due to tablet crashing isn't too useful...

According to quick start guide this works with Archos PC Stick, noooo not in my experience, all I get is "No Archos Device Detected". Yes they are both on the same network!!!

Sits there saying it can't find anything. Enabled on the tablet, still nothing.

All of a sudden my phone asks for a pairingkey, on my Archos 101 Neon tablet i'm unable to find that key.. Worthless......

Don't work for this new model of Archos. Must be old App.

It works half. Because I can remotely do a few thing but I can't use touch because then the app crashes on the tablet also a volume option would be useful

Its just displaying 'no Archos device detected', even after enabling its discoverable mode. How can it be helped?

I once had it working flawlessly but then now its not even detecting my tablet. I have one of the models listed. I'm baffled.

Fails to see my Archos 80 titanium making this app useless, another thing on the 80 titanium that doesn't work as it should.

Please make compatible with tethering! Can't is the tablet when tablet is connected to the phone via wifi tethering...

If you're streaming video on the Archos, the wifi connection between it and the phone is constantly interrupted. Would be better to connect them via bluetooth so as to not have to fight for bandwidth on the wifi network. Reduced to two stars.

Have used this on and off but has never been reliable enough. Gen8 101 with Galaxy Nexus. Could be awesome though :(

Good, but disconnects frequently

I installed it to control an archos 35. If u can't see what you are doing on the archos device what good is it for? U can just use directly the archos. The remote is good only for controlling the volume and if you're lucky, u might manage to play pause your station or media.

Easy to set up, can use all functions apart from touch screen mode as tablet has older os. Great if you are using your tablet as a media player on amp or tv.

Every time I try to install updates, I get an error message, telling me to remove the app before I can install the newest version. Unfortunately, it is one of the apps permanently pre-installed on my Archos.tablet, so I can't remove it.
