Archos System Update

I originally called these updates pointless but I guess they do serve a function!

It does not update ur bush phone at all I have a bush spira e2x and it is lollipop but will not update

For any of you thinking of downloading this do not if u have other then an archos phone/tablet it dose stuff (let's u update your device) do not hate it has its use's

For anyone with a Bush phone, please bear in mind that Archos does the actual assembly for them, hence why this has downloaded to your device. Wether or not your model gets an actual update is a different question however. Nothing for the D3.

Of course it does something, possibly updates newer devices/firmware in the system? People are mad because updated with no use or understand? Sad... Hey, it's a virus, don't download! lol

Nobody knows what it is for... mystery! It's not a good image of Archos towards the customers

Says it's updating but with no percentage and never ends for me...

Won't be read but this "app" has no purpose. Does fork all. If you updated the OS as often as this crapware we'd give it 5 stars!

It's a basic os you could improve a lot of thing's like a better looking notification panel and add some status bar icon customisation and be able to add battery percentage to status bar and add some other new features use could at least have some info on what use are actually doing with each update

Because of this updates I will not buy other products of the company.

What is this app's purpose?

My Archos 80c tablet is too slow. Even cheaper tablets are faster than it is. Each time I see an update to this app, I am hopeful that a firmware update is on the way to fix the tablet. Up to now, I have been disappointed.

have been waiting to update for months. Allow the update NOW. Can you not tell from the very negative feedback that you need to get your arses into gear and get the app to work correctly... And try answering feedback for a change! All I can say is 'Typical French'.

I'm waiting for Android marshmallow from 11 months and Archie never put it in it's devices really that app is so bad as Archie also is so bad phone !!! Horrible app

All Bush/Alba products are repackaged tech(the Bush/Alba phones are actually a French owned company called Archos)just like their Bush freeview boxes are repackaged Vestel devices and neither recieve updates from Argos themselves,you need to install them from the original vendor,so don't blame Bush/Alba/Argos for not providing these.as for Archos.....well like Vestel they are pretty useless at releasing useful updates for their products if at all.

The app updates, but not the system. All that has happened since the last update, is I have lost the QR scanner on my camera??, when are we getting marshmallow, please somebody pass this on.

I have had my phone for a while it came on Lollipop and Marshmallow was out and now we have Nougat could updates allow for OS updates

For what this app if you do not give any OS updates? Useless.

Update installed itself and now I've lost my front facing camera!!!! Even after uninstalling this update there is no option to reverse the impact! Archos, for goodness sake sort this out!!!!!

What does this update do?

PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM ON ARCHOS 55 PLATINUM. WIFI IS ALWAYS UNSTABLE. I REALLY DONT KNOW WHATS PROBLEM?

It updatees my 50c platinum about 600mb, but after the upgrade I can't see any change apart from the fusion storage blah blah, it actually thought it will upgrade my android 5.1 to 6
