The Arccos Driver app works with the Arccos Driver sensor, as well as any Cobra Connect driver featuring an Arccos sensor embedded in the grip (standard for Cobra KING LTD Black, KING F7 and KING F7+ models).
The Arccos Driver performance tracking and live competition system delivers real-time data for tee shot distances, fairways hit and more. The single-sensor platform achieves this by automatically detecting each drive and recording second shot position without the need for tagging or other annoying disruptions.
Arccos Driver features include:
• Advanced GPS for 40,000+ courses
• Distance and accuracy stats for every drive
• Precise Shot Detection that distinguishes between real and practice shots
• King of the Hole virtual long drive competition with live leaderboards
• Social bragging via one-touch posting to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, text and e-mail
To start using the system, players simply attach the ultralight Arccos Driver sensor to the grip end of any driving club. This – or a Cobra Connect driver Powered by Arccos – is then paired just once to a smartphone using the free Arccos Driver app.
For the Arccos Driver app to work properly, users must keep their smartphone in a front pocket throughout their round.
The Arccos Driver sensor runs on a standard watch battery (CR2032). This lasts up to 50 rounds, with charge level monitored via a battery indicator in the Arccos app.
All Cobra Connect drivers Powered by Arccos feature second-generation hardware that comes with a two-year battery guarantee.
Arccos Driver uses the smartphone's background location capabilities to determine shot locations when in a round. Please be aware that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

*update* it is getting better. I worked with their very friendly customer service to resolve a mapping issue I was having. Basically, my 5th reinstall. Shot tracking works pretty good, still wish it had a few more features like score tracking, but now, for taking my drives, it does pretty good.

First use with the driver at the weekend seems to eat battery for no reason. Driver results erratic. Had in my right pocket evidently works best in left pocket. Didnt pick up next hole accurately. - mates works perfectly on iPhone, but with similar battery issues

It's getting better with the updates and they've been helpful I working through old issues. For the most part it works correctly. It does use a crazy amount of battery though. My phone will barley make it through a round with a full charge

Stupid app and customer support. I watched all the videos before install and followed all directions. However even after the software said I was paired the app at the golf course kept saying "waiting for drive" even after I hit. The app would not advance to the next hole. Tried shutting down and restarting several times. Finally just shut it down. Tried customer support but that was a ridiculous experience. Never got a call back after leaving my number. Then called back and after 20 minutes on hold I was disconnected. Waste of my time and money

Great concept but destroys the phone battery started the round on my Samsung s8+ with the phone at 97% finished round with phone on 12%.

The first time I paired the sensor the app worked fine, but it did not work for my first round. It won't even let you log in or create an account on the s7. Arccos sensor seems cool but is completely useless without the app!

App crashes mid-round or late round and all data is lost. Reinstalling app doesnt help. The android app isnt ready public use. Unless they can fix the GUI and bug problems this is wasted money and time. It has been a frustrating distraction so far. Not what my game needed.

Useless, sucked my battery dry within 30 minutes of starting the round and the phone was fully charged. Also found later on that it was using over 20gb of my phone's storage!! Good job I didn't buy the driver for the app!

Can't use the app. Crashes just after opening on my galaxy note 5. Waste of 100 bucks so far. Not sure if it has anything to do with my phone. I was able to pair my driver. Went out on the course today and the app crashes.

The bugs are many but the customer service is great. I was contacted less then 24 hrs after raising issues I had. Currently the app does not open on my Nexus 6

Works great, creates shot by shot recap of your entire round.

Can get it to track drives but not on all holes and won't do a full 18. Stops working halfway through. King of the hole is a joke. Had the longest drive, shown up as king of the hole and then deletes itself and doesn't register. I did wonder why most of the courses looked like they've never been played. Obviously doesn't save longest drives. Get it sorted instead of spending millions on advertising a poor app.
