Wayfinder play-by-post helper

I like this app and want to use it more but a couple things keep driving me to a regular browser. The first is that I can only post using aliases, not my primary profile name which is what I need for the 2 games I run (and thus post most frequently). The second is when I back out or return from viewing a specific campaign, the overall campaign view doesn't refresh. The shortcuts are excellent and the added ability to move to the first or last post as well as switch to a n older page of posts are welcome

This app is great. It works for multiple aliases across different campaigns. Much better than phone posting from a browser. The interface is pretty good too. Although I feel it could be improved, I'm not sure how. My only specific complaint would be that when you preview a post you're writing (for instance, to see your dice roll results) and then go back to edit the post then all the line breaks go away. That is really irritating.

The app crashes when I try the following: viewing older posts, previewing a draft post, and posting a draft as a full post. I am able to view current and new posts only. I have reinstalled, and rebooted the phone to make sure it wasn't that. I also submitted two crash reports as well. I just bought this yesterday. Please fix it.

I've finally go back into pbp gaming but the moment I create a new alias it's not showing up in my list of available alias'. Now I like this app and while I can use one I have to post in the discussion that I'll post soon. It's a pain when I can't use the one for the game.

All that it lacks, imo, is the function to edit posts :) otherwise, great app. Now still 4 stars. But one of my threads cant be opened. If i try to open it in the app, the app crashes. All the others work fine except the one thread.... please help to fix this issue. Thanks

Fantastic app for PbP gamers. I use it regularly to post from phone. Pair it with Swype and it can be even faster than logging in etc. Have you ever tried posting from your iPhone or Android and been frustrated with trying to type out quote, bracelet, backslash, b, close bracket? How about dice rolls - it's a freaking nightmare. Before I got this app I never posted from the phone using the webpage. 100 downloads is an insult to this app. Try it -it's a buck for sakes. Good job DKal.

Very good product. Makes it easy to keep up with PbP games when you are on the go, and facilitates the in text code. This is so much easier than pecking everything out on the regulat keyboard. Easy to read, easy to use, and very funtional.

I got this app before they stop covering it. It has been the most helpful tool for handling multiple play by post games. I am sad that I heard they were no longer covering this app because it has been stable and I haven't had any problems with it crashing and it lets me write posts faster than if I was using a keyboard at my desk!

Solid build. Makes checking and posting easy from my phone. A real must have. Covers all campaigns you are in, and remembers which alias you are posting with I each campaign. You can switch like normal if you are using multiple aliases. The only improvement I would request is that after a preview I would like it to maintain spacing and formating if I choose to edit before posting. As of now if I edit after a preview I've got a block of text and have to add back all my spacing. Still a great tool.

Doesn't show my default alias even as an option. Current game I'm in uses that one, so right now the app is useless except for reading posts.

I click post in a pbp game I have posted in by other means. App crashes. Would not buy again.

I can't log into the app, I am on a Samsung galaxy 6. Everytime I can enter my account information but when I try to log into the app it will not get passed the logging in screen

Just downloaded the app and I dig it, but I cannot figure out how to use an alias I created for a specific game. How can I change them?

This is exactly the app I needed to keep track of my play by post game. Since the most recent update, though, it has been crashing on launch, then resuming successfully. It's missing a lot of things, like displaying the names and profiles of people posting! But well worth a buck.

Before I begin, let me say that this is only helpful for Play By Post Games through Paizo's website. It does not (at least for now) help for games from other sites. Basically the App does 3 things. First it really cuts down on Paizo's website, removing the store, banners, and other things that download on their site, and just focuses in on the games. That helps a lot to quickly download and view the page, particularly on cell phones and tablets. Secondly, it has the sites BBCodes already installed as hotkeys on the screen, so simply pushing a button will enter the codes for you, while hitting it again will enter the ending code, making typing very quick and easy. The last thing is that it places all of your active games in one location, which makes it very easy to simply check all at once which ones have new posts. That alone is great, and the rest is just extra cake on top of it. Recent update has made it compatible with Android 2.3+, and future updates I'm told will help even older systems. :)

Love the app but it needs two thing to make it good. Allow screen rotation and allow you to access the character for each game.

Worked great for a few months but now does not show any campaign I am in. Known bug with no updates in weeks

Great app for keeping up with pbp! I would give it 5 stars if it allowed us to click a picture and see the character sheet/profile. I'd pay more for it if it would send notifications for new posts.

Stuck at 'loading campaigns'

I picked this up because a friend of mine is using it in a game I GM. This app has loads of potential, and I will gladly recommend it to everyone I play with if it continues to be updated. Some features I'd like to see: - Jump to bottom. When I select a campaign, I don't want to have to scroll through 10 pages to get to the newest stuff. - Refresh button on the home screen. - Character profile support. As I think of more, I'll message the dev. Keep up the support. You make my only hobby much easier.

Somehow it lost track of all the games I am playing. Please update or fix it!

Is this app still getting updated? I just installed it, and it's been stuck on loading campaigns... and I haven't even started any campaigns yet.

Only shows one campaign. I should have given my dollar to a homeless person instead.

It does what it is meant to and is well worth the token cost, and hopefully it will continue to be upgraded!

Worth the dollar I paid for it. Could use a refresh button on the campaigns page and cut off viewing a particularly large post at the second bulleted list, but nothing functionality-breaking.

This app is awesome for playing on paizo, but it isn't perfect and could use a developer showing it some love. Simple things like ability to hide campaigns and change your alias when editing a post (actually a bug). As of December, getting a little frustrated that there are no updates. No ability for notifications, no bug fixes, just meh.
