Wemo Widgets

This application works great, it does what it says it does, and the developer responded in less than 10 minutes to a couple of questions I had. Load the app up (make sure you are on the same Wireless network), it will automatically discover your already-configured Wemo devices, and then just add the widgets to your home screen, and done! Couldn't be easier, works perfect. Thanks!

Good idea, access WeMo switch even faster , free and no ads. but my phone keep telling me it is a power intense apps. I hope this can be improved. Also the widget icon isn't nice enough to put on desktop...

Works beautifully on my phone, loads super fast, and instantaneous response between activating the light through app and seeing my wemo light turn on. Really like the way the icon changes colour to indicate state.

Works great when on wifi, but doesn't work when connected to mobile data. If you're only going to be using the widget when at home, this would be ideal. Otherwise it's either stick with using the widgetless Wemo app, or use Do Button and live with the lag.

It keeps disconnecting for no reason (the button turns grey) so every goddamn time I need to open the app.. What's the use of a widget if you need to open the app to use it?

It used to work perfectly. One day the widget disappeared and if I go in the app it says searching and never finds anything. I have a Galaxy S6. Please fix. It used to be 5 stars.

Only feature I'd like to see? Individual icons to help differianturate between devices in place of the ubiquitous light bulb.

Was working great until I unplugged one of my devices for a few days. Now it won't switch any of them.

I needed a widget for my wemo plug and it worked first time perfect. Nothing fancy, just works

App works great, but it is draining battery like hell. Please fix that. Nexus 6P using Android 7.0. UPDATE: Still draining battery

(Solution: uninstall and reinstall the app.) Used to work just fine, but, after some time, it lost two out of three insight switches.

The widgets stopped working. I've cleared data and force stopped the app. Nothing doin'. The original Wemo app works fine.

Keeps losing the connection. There is no way to reestablish - one must uninstall the app and start over. This makes it worthless. BLU phone, Android 6.0.1, Mediacom WiFi.

It constantly loses connection with my WeMos. I either have to open the app or uninstall and reinstall.

Worked great for about a week and now does nothing. Uninstalled and reinstalled and now it does not find any devices at all.

Not perfect, but much much better than the one the manufacturer.

Works brilliantly but lacks the ability to customize the widgets with different icons to represent the device it controls. A set of icons that follow the same style as one another could be packaged with the app and add a dash of customization to the widgets. Also, groups/scenes would be a handy feature for this app to have so that users can quickly switch a group of electronics on or off to create a certain look or atmosphere simply from the Android start screen.

(I recently reported that the app had found my Insight when first installed, then it suddenly failed; the developer responded instantly, and I found that it was my Linksys XAC1900 at fault.) This app locates my Insight way quicker than Belkin's app - like light years quicker. - Can't recommend it higher!

I rescind my prior review and will now give this 4 stars. After much unintelligible and reinstalling the app suddenly and inexplicably found my light. Pretty much does what it says on the tin, but not a 5 star review because of the hassle in setting it up.

Very minimalistic and does exactly what I need it to do with no ads or clutter. Seens to function better than the official went app. I wish more apps were like this. Only thing that could make this better is custom color or picture icons for each device.

Belkin should ask this developer to redo their app. Beautifully designed. I no longer have to wait for the vendor app to load to turn off the lights. Would love for widget customization (size, color, etc.). I'd gladly pay for this app to support it, especially since the app from Belkin is so lacking.

This fills the biggest gap of these official wemo app: no widgets. Though it also still works just as great as the official so when it's open. Thank you for this app!

It would be great if we could use intents for automation. Even better if you can make it into a Tasker plugin.

This app was what I wanted all along & finally I've found it. So much easier to turn on & off switches without having to wait for the WeMo app to start up, saves me lots of time.

This would be perfect except it does not support Wemo Maker. So much potential!

Just installed it and can't find any of my switches. Wemo app works normal. Does it have to do with the latest Wemo app update or firmwares?

Switches are forgotten(?) / button grey most of the time for some reason. But when the switched are recognized it works great!

The app works great but draws battery like crazy on Android Nougat

It works and is very easy to set up but it only works while connected to the network that the WeMo device is on.

I love these widgets so much. They make toggling WeMo devices incredibly easy.

Works well for one device, despite the official Wemo app being set up with 2 devices, this app only picks up one. Tried uninstall and reinstall

Downloaded app, opened right up, there were all my wemo devices! But can't figure out how to get separate widgets.

The dev is very responsive and really considers your feedback to improve the app. The app is simple and provides full functionality without using the slow official app and actually works with widgets.
