This app run in background even when I closed it . It drains the battery. The cpu usage is 8s but the camera usage is 6h, which means the app does not turn off the camera after scaning

Tried a couple of these apps such as I-Nigma and Quickmark, while some others I just didn't install based on characteristics of the write-ups. In scanning several bar codes with the above apps I would come up with zero hits - no ads, info or nothing. With this app it actually allowed me to choose the webpages for searches and came up with bar code hits on the internet for the few test items I was scanning. Perhaps QR Code Reader Q is not the best, I don't know. However it seemed the best of the ones I tried. I also found the UI simpler than the others and no ads is great. Quickmark had scrolling ads that in the few minutes I tried it they were driving me a little nuts.

QR Scanner from Kaspersky did not work at all on my Samsung s6, no matter what I tried. This one worked the first try, with no adjustments. Point and done.

I installed 7 QR code readers before this one. This is the first one I liked. Good UI and it works well
