CarpeTempus for Android
There is no substitute for well-written software.
(1) The items in setup-dialogue should be arranged in better and tidy order. Currently, the dialogue looks crowded and complicated. (2) I can not find an option to set CT to play alarm-sound for, say 10 second, then if I do nothing it will automatically be snoozed.
Very customizable, easy to use, & the voice alarm is effective in waking me in the morning. Thanks for the great app. Much appreciated.

This is a simple, straightforward app with a clear purpose. The interface is a bit squeezed on my phone (a Kyocera Rise), but it's perfect on a 7-inch tablet. Used as a timer or alarm for any process or need you can imagine, it can alert you using text-to-speech conversion of your own typed words. (I set up a 4-minute tea timer that announces, "Your tea is ready, sir." Makes me smile every time.) You can use your imagination to do a lot with this app. It is exactly what it says it is, and your own clever mind can make it much more. Small footprint, low memory demand, with the usual care and thought applied by developer Paul Lutus. I've been a fan of his work for years, and use a highly customized version of his Arachnophilia software to do web design work on both Windows and Linux operating systems. Do consider what Paul says about "careware," too. It's a concept I'd like to see catch on in a big way.
Great, quality app.
