Top Speed Accelerated Reading Book Search - Many children are now participating in the AR™ program within their schools and as a result many students, parents, teachers, and administrators are looking for easier ways to quickly access book level and point information. This application is the answer you are looking for. Simply scan the barcode of the book you are looking at and find out within seconds if it has an available quiz, what book level it is, and how many points that test would be.
If scanning the barcode doesn't work then you have the option to type in the title, author or ISBN to search for the book. There's no need to type the full title of the book either; type a partial name and if the first book isn't the one your looking for, scroll down to find a list of 20 alternatives.
If you are having any issues please email support. Reviews do not help us correct issues or fix problems. We test with thousands of books and different situations, but there is no way for us to fix problems if we aren't told about them.

***Known Limitations***
Some UPC codes are not unique to a single book but a type of books so the proper book may not display. This is most common in smaller paperbacks.
We are limited by the UPC databases content we search. These do not necessarily contain all books. Some books scanned may display not found but are indeed in the AR Book List. We are constantly trying to add additional databases to search but cannot guarantee 100% accuracy when scanning UPC codes. Hand typed searches will always work.

I purchased this app hoping to scan ANY book to check AR levels! I experienced some issues that wouldn't work with this app. Some school book fair books have different barcodes, therefore they could not be scanned. This app couldn't work for me, but AR Finder is an awesome tool to have. If it works for you, I highly recommend this.

With my kids constantly having to take ar tests it's worth it to be able to scan them. Others have complained about books not showing up, sometimes the book has a barcode on the back and one inside the cover... 99% of the time the app finds it with one of those. I don't mind hunting that 1% 'manually' by typing in title or author. Definitely worth it for me!

I rarely pay for apps, but this one is worth it. I have hundreds of books in my classroom. This app will look up any book on the Accelerated Reader system. (It's not the app developer's fault if some publishers fail to put bar codes on their books.) It's helpful to be able to quickly find the reading level and quiz number for my books. This would get five stars if the word count was included with the lookup result, and/or the results included a link to the A.R. book page. Highly recommended for teachers and parents.

Would be nice if the books my daughter reads could be saved somehow. Nice app but wish it would have been free. Not all books my daughter has shows up, I still use the free website to look up books.

My students always ask in the library which books are AR. This helps me to be able to move around instead of being at one computer. It is very accurate as well.

Have not had it successfully scan the barcode of a book and identify it yet. Manual entry of the book title or author works well. Would be a 5 for sure if ISBN barcoding would work properly.

Tried it on my Galaxy S III none of the dozen books I scanned showed up. So I called my hubby to check them online. All the books i scanned or looked up were AR books. This site sucks. I want my money back

After 6yo son started AR he got psyched and had me typing in all titles of all books. I thought "there must be an app for that" and there was!!! I would give five stars if it didn't misread a fair number of ISBN bar codes. I can't say who's fault it is but it is a minor disappointment. Anyway, this thing can grow! It should remember all books scanned before. It should allow you to mark them as read for reporting later It should scan book face, spine, or title page -- as in google goggles, and give you the AR values It should e-mail you later with any stats it collects It should help find free, low cost, or online versions It should point to a decent reader for e-books Good luck authors!

Hardest thing is finding a book that's in my daughter's level when we are out & about. She doesn't always have time to get to the school library, and the public library doesn't have a current listing so we have been guessing, with sad results. Now we can scan it and know for sure! Thank you!!!!
