Nissan Canada LEAF

Living with long term choices: Nissan decided on an architecture which can't not disappoint in terms of performance. This is not a fault of this app, which is a far better offering than what they've previously produced. Being in third Leaf year, this is still not as feature-full as Leaf Manager but much prettier to look at, and free. For performance improvements, let's wait for Nissan to find better IT architects, and a whole new design integrating the car and your mobile device.

This app represent Nissan's commitment to its products, and customers. This also speaks of their quality. Avoid Nissan products.

The app is not optimized for responsiveness. The server is also slow which doesn't help.

I had previously rated this app as unusable but I'm bumping this up to 3 stars from 1 star because the app does eventually connect to the car if you wait long enough. Approx 2-3 min to connect.

Terrible application. Slow, sluggish, half the time doesn't let you login or loses connection to the server. No excuse for such a poor quality app.

Incredibly slow, crashes, with an active level 3 charge, charging info gets blanked out, notifications can't be set, too many server failure error msgs,...

Tried many times, need improvement pls.

Please make this app available for a personal computer

This application went from being ancient but solid and awesome to being utterly worthless. Takes forever to log in and when it does it doesn't even show the car's battery level... You know the MAIN reason we have the app. Oh and it doesn't turn climate control on or off... You know the other reason we have the app. I was looking forward to new features. Instead the app is now useless. How does it not even sync with the web browser. It says my battery level is at 0 km... Fix this please.

I have used the older versions without problems. Can't even logon now. Can logon via the web with my email address now though.

Too slow.

Can't log in ... User and password ok but says service cannot be provided. Am using browser instead! After calls to cust service app now working... Re-rated to 4 stars

Previous version was old, but solid and had an important detail: worked almost all the time. This one... (sigh)... slow when it does work. Have to ask for a refresh to see battery level (as which is a tiny button). A deterrent to actually buying the car. If the accompanying software doesn't work as advertised... As far as I'm concerned... this is the beginning of carwingsgate! Nissan get on this!

The last update made that app even worse than it was. After working sluggish for 1 month, it just stopped working. Now I cannot log in at all... even after a fresh re-install. Fully equipped Leaf SL + Samsung Note 5, but they cannot communicate together with such an horrible low grade application.

Lots of problems with previous versions, but eventually got it working. Latest update completely broke it as it won't even communicate with the server anymore. Completely useless. Cleared all the app data, tried uninstalling, nothing fixes it. Maybe they should release the source code so someone who knows what they're doing can fix it.

Absolutely horrible tap on country button to select and you get a blank page...wow...never expected this low quality software from a manufacturer this big...great dissatisfaction might influence the purchase of future nissan products still don't understand what wss wrong with the initial app

This is terrible. I'vr had nothing but problems with it since I had to switch from the Carwings app. It fails to talk to the car half the time. That's when it actually lets you login. Loading times are terrible. I now use Leaf Manager a 3rd party app that works better than anything Nissan has put out.

I find this app very painful to use, I get many error messages. It seems to only work correctly in 1 out of 10 tries. The spinning/waiting indicator is what I mostly see.

The new app doesn't connect to the server. Also it is unbelievably slow. It was much quicker and easier to activate certain functions in the old app. Please fix it.

Had to call support to have my account switched from carwings to nissan connect, but now it is working better than it did with Carwings.

Latest update one week ago broke it. Worked fine before that. Fix this!

Slow, flaky. Uses the wrong timezone for timed events. Often times out when connecting to the server. Embarrassingly amateurish app, much worse than the old Carwings app.

Bunch of garbage app. Really disappointed considering how much I paid for the car. Now app doesn't log in just writes an error message.

I'm not able to log in anymore but even when it worked before it was slow. I'm actually going to uninstall it until they fix this.

Security issues was found with this application. Nissan turned off the server to protect car users.

Old app worked reliably, now I use the web browser as I can't log in with this one. It says service not available

Works intermittently. Cold morning and cannot get climate control to work or anything else on this app for that matter. Terrible!!

It took much longer to log in and update. At least it still works. Keep improvement. Thanks.

Works like a charm

Now has stopped working entirety. Won't connect to server anymore. Old carwings app worked slowly as well but at least it worked!

Can you hire me so I can fix this garbage

Please remove the constraint that you MUST* select a notification type for the battery heater, I want none! It would be nice to have a charge timer as well. Auto updates while charging would also be nice... Bit more polish would go a long way.

Very happy nissan finally released this for android, but it's not quite there yet. Especially with the climate control button. Any time I turn on climate, the button changes to "turn off climate" and is stuck that way long after, even if the climate is already off and I've done the manual update... Please fix.

This is the app Leaf owners have been waiting for. Needs little more work, but not bad overall.
