Fill That Bullet: Be Organized for Android
I looked up bullet journal just to see what would pop up and found this app! I don't always have my journal with me so I'm super happy I can have this with me at all times. If you could add sub tasks it would be perfect.
This isn't the bullet journal method, it's a bare bones to-do list with the bullets. There's no search feature, no notes/journal ability, no way to make lists (a.k.a collections, such as a master to-do list, grocery list, ideas, etc), no monthly overview. You can, however, make future plans by swiping to the day or month you need (choose the month by tapping on the day at the bottom of the screen). And the daily push reminder is irritating with no way to turn it off.
Good for keeping your tasks on hand without needing a paper copy for the same say. I do not however need daily push reminders to create tasks, (obnoxious much?) and causes my phone to alert flash for literally nothing in the dark if night and I can't turn that functioning off that I could see. Major flaw is the app to ignores when I have outstanding tasks and need the push reminders. It does not migrate tasks to the current day and the load is so slow on my phone I have to hold on a day to wait for a load to make sure I had no tasks to clear out completed ones. Nice effort, poor execution, removed.
Right now its just a list, not really a bullet journal. Its needs a search function and the ability to plan ahead. Would like to see month/week at a glance. The developer should use a bullet journal before trying to create an app.
I don't do reviews often! However, I must say after using your "Bullet Journal" app for about 2 weeks, I'm very disappointed. This is basically a to do list and not what I consider a very good one. If there is a way to move items to the next day, more than once, I couldn't find it. Yet that would be my next complaint, your instructions are, non-existent! I am computer/app savy and I don't have trouble figuring these things out. I tried to find your website/help site also non-existent!
I am a beginner at BuJo. So this app really shocking me when there is very minimum introduction on how to start making bujo and what those symbol means. It would be great if it has widget too and thank you for making this Bujo app.
It *nearly* does what I want. It's just got too many bugs. Can't move a task to a later date, finished tasks appear and disappear randomly and changing view from Month to Day just screws up the whole app.
I like this app a lot, it's like an actual bullet journal but without an additional thing to carry around. The only issue is that there are some minor bugs, but nothing so far that hasn't been fixed by restarting the app.
I've looked for a while for an app that I like as much as I like this one. I like the simplicity and being able to change the status of a task. Biggest thing I would love to see is the ability to repeat a task daily. That would be great for reminding a person to do things such as take vitamins, do exercises, and the like, without having to type them daily or copy and paste. Keep up the good work!
More features needed. Here is the order of features you need to add. 1. Integration with Google Calendar. 2. Ability to move bullets to future dates easily. 3. Export bullets to CSV/text .5. Weekly & Monthly logs 6. Collections/Dump lists. After first 2 you'll be in a very good place.
It's very basic. I like that it prompts me to enter my daily tasks. I'd love to see note keeping added and perhaps a remind me feature. Otherwise really great.. leading the pack w.r.t. what's out there currently.
Simple, bland, barely BuJo. BuJo is supposed to be everything you need to keep yourself organized, while keeping it easy for looking at the past. This isn't even a bad to-do. It's base mechanics are very uncomfortable so I don't think there's anything that can be done. The app is terrible and it'll stay like that.
I really like the idea and the interface but I really need a search function or and index. I would also really like to be able to make lists not associated with days for things I want to keep track of.
Yes, google keep and to-do list apps are great, but I need a little extra help to sort by context and bullet journal styles help a lot with giving that instant "ahh" when i look at a note. I still prefer my paper planner (simpler, more customisable when needs change) for housing all the things, but this is great to have on the go.
Definitely a great app, and it keeps everything in order; however, I think it could use some more aesthetic appeal to it, like background and color wise, and it gets really annoying when you have a lot going on for the day and you try to organize the last thing with color; the little 'plus' icon at the bottom keeps getting in the way and it's pretty annoying. Otherwise a really nice app that keeps me organized.
Everything works pretty well, except when it comes to moving tasks to other days, which simply is not possible: when I click the box with the arrow inside it just closes the options off, please fix it. Otherwise, thank you very much, it's a great app
Blatant rip off of Ryder Carroll's Bullet Journal system, using the same structure and symbols and naming it so as to avoid attribution but be found by people searching for "bullet journal".
I wanted a paper version of bullet journal, but it takes a lot of time to make one. Nice app. I'd would only add the future log and maybe habit tracker. But it's simplicity is just perfect.
It's not an in-depth planning app like others, but if you wake up with a list of things to do this is perfect for you. I like it.
Just downloaded, the app is running seamlessly so far and is pretty efficient at getting tasks and events handled. I do want to note that when trying to set a task to migrate I do not get the symbol to pop up in my list view. I also think that migrating a task should either go to another date upon selection or into a future log which could be checked daily through a prompt. Other than that I'll be back with an update after a week or two.
Forgot my bujo at home this morning and found this app. Would like more time to read quotes and a little more info on using app instead of struggling myself. Read other comments and agree it needs migrate to date function amoung other things. Will rereview with next update.
Not sure I love it yet. To soon to tell. But it is helping me to learn the concept of BUJO.
There's only one problem, when I click on the gear and try to go back to the main page nothing shows up(when I switch to the calender and such it works but not where my tasks are and such) but other than that this is a good app!
Don't always have my paper one on me, testing to see if this will do what I need it to do in its absence.
I love the basic elements of this, but I would need recurring tasks, reminder times, and indexable lists for brain dumps in order for this to become something I'd regularly use. The purpose of a bullet journal is containing everything in one place, and currently this isn't close to replacing it. I look forward to checking it again in the future and am hoping for updates!
This implements the bullet journal philosophy and doesn't try to be more than that. Perfect. Please don't try to make it into a hyper app. It is great the way it is.
I don't know it very well so far but it seems alright.
It's nice to have so that I don't have to have my paper bullet journal with me always.
At some point I do like it, but its only been the 2nd day since I tried it... But so far its pretty handy!!
I've been doing bullet journals for a while now and I'm so glad to have found an app that fits that style of task management.
Like the minimalistic approach to this app, only thing in having trouble with is it duplicates my tasks!
With the updated version I am finding this app very useful for keep clear and concise track of appointments and tasks. I am very pleased.
This app really helps me track my day to day activities and stay focused!
Makes it easy to bujo I can't carry it with me at work, but now I can check tasks on my table very easily.
Seems to be a perfectly fine To-Do list, but NOT a bullet journal app.
Just a to do list
I usually keep an actual bullet journal and have been hoping for an app, this is awesome!
Functionality is incredible, wish there was some more personality to the app
Its simple and just beautiful

I know bullet journals are meant to be low tech, but the lack of features in this is disappointing. No ability to view masterlists or search is disappointing. The main drawback, though, is that if I click out of the app and back in again, it refuses to advance from the current day and won't bring up the calendar to postpone tasks unless I kill the app and relaunch it.
