If you are fanatical about facts and figures, or just interested in your current height above sea level, then look no further than this app. Simple to use, informative, with a customisable display - what more could you want? The latest upgrade adding an altitude overlay means you can see your current height regardless of what app is displaying on your screen - extremely valuable when out walking or travelling. Use it with maps or a satnav app and enjoy the additional data. Extremely helpful developer willing to listen to ideas and feedback. Thanks very much !

The only problem I have is the lack of auto-rotation. I drive with it docked horizontally but I walk with it vertically.

For non Barometric sensor devices, I feel that it is very battery consuming if the GPS is turned on all the time. Can't it use Wifi to determine the location?

Anyone giving a bad rating cause they are having a problem unlocking a paid app for free needs to get real. If you have a problem then email the developer. That said, it seems like a useful app if it's something you need. I don't need it just downloaded it to see what it was about. Good job dev.

I don't know why others are having problems with AppGratis. It automatically upgrades to Pro version at the app start-up. There's no promo code needed. As for this app, I've never used this kind before, it seems nice and works well. I'll have to test more. Sony Xperia Z
