Family Shared Calendar: FamCal

Tried lots of calender apps, most didn't sync or didn't show a full calender. This is easily the best family calender I've tried.

Great calendar. I like that you view the whole month. Just wish I could color code different types of events

Please allow zoom cos the calendar view can be quite small. Thanks.

No computer use. Phone only. I like to pull up big on computer and print sometimes. Can't do in this.

I think I would have given this 5 Stars if that also included a photo album!

This app is fantastic! If it had a meal planner and bill reminder I would BUY this!

It has been excellent to help my family stay organized with all of our different schedules! Very easy to use. I don't know how we lived without it!

So happy with this! I downloaded 6 different ones before I found this one. It's easy to use, keeps my family organized, and I love that my husband and I can update shopping lists, write memos, etc. It automatically synced our other calenders. Only downside is we can only see each other's tasks that actually get input into FamCal. We can't see the other's synced tasks. But that's no big deal! We just make sure we input into this app and life is perfect and so much more organized! Thrilled with it!

Initially have loved having this. We have a shared family one. My phone died (I was owner of account) with hubby. I've installed it on a new phone with the same email address and password but everything in mine is completely blank. I thought with it being shared, as my hubby still has everything on his, it would sync and work. Waiting for an email back. If it can be fixed then I'll amend to 5 stars. If not we'll be changing to a more reliable one.

I just opened it today per a recommendation. So far I really like it. The first thing in having issues with is uploading a family photo. It gets stuck loading until my screen goes out. The individual pictures didnt have this issue. UPDATE: there's not an anniversary tab like the birthday one. How is my husband supposed to remember our anniversary?

It requires that I sync with my personal calendar. However, this is a shared visitation calendar and I have no desire to share my actual schedule with the kid's father. But it loaded all of the events on the calendar anyways and then doubled up on them. So my only is to go day-by-day and delete every single event.

Great replacement for Cozi - without having to pay for full functionality. The only (minor) issue I have is trying to figure out a way to export events to Google Calendar. It easily imports events, though.

All the features you'd need in a pleasant, unfussy design + it's a dream to set up + use compared to other calendar-sharing apps we've tried. These all need the sharing process to be done on the Google calendar website first, which I hadn't realised, but the developers responded really quickly to my enquiry.

Like all functions of the app except the import contacts does not work well. I can't go past "M" and most of the time it just freezes or goes black. Once fixed would be 5⭐

Have only had this app for a week but so far we're loving it. Hubby and I have each linked our calenders and our son's schedule as well. Easy to use. Simple, clear, modern format. Love it!

This is the best shared calendar we've found but it just so happens to not be compatable with the only other adult's device. Guess we have to settle with something else..

The App is ok. However, when I put it in landscape mode to get a detailed weekly view, most of the appointments don't show. There's probably better apps out there, but for the time being I'll stick with this one.

Excellent app to keep the teen family organised. Syncs so easily between Apple and Samsung. Best calendar app I have used when the family has different devices. Would like to see a swipe option when in today screen to see tomorrow without having to go into the calendar and an option to add a photo for school trip notices etc but these things are definatley extras on an already great organiser.

I really like the app. It would be helpful if you could reorder the items in a list once you've made it. Otherwise, very helpful.

Would be an awesome app if only you provided a way to message another family member within the app, a chat function.

This app would be perfect if we could add pictures to memos and stuff...other than that, its awesome

With 2 pre-adults and 12yr son and tons of activities, this app has helped organize our family time!
