AMSA Pilot

The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) Marine Pilot Reporting Mobile Application (App) is an information-sharing tool to help improve maritime safety.

The App assists Australian marine pilots notify AMSA where non-compliance with pilot transfer requirements is suspected.

Suspected instances of non-compliance with the SOLAS and/or ISO requirements associated with pilot transfer arrangements should be notified to AMSA.

The App can also be used to report suspected instances of non-compliance with the Navigation Act or safety/pollution regulations. Useful information resources regarding pilot transfer arrangements are also contained in the App.
