LomoScanner 1.0 for Android
Doesn't focus. That's a pretty basic thing to get wrong on this sort of app... And then crashes. I'm using an SIII, so a pretty good phone. Seriously needs the developers to actually... Develop... For a camera Co to have a camera app that doesn't work is pretty bad...
I was able to get all my old photos on film back to life in digital using this app.
Failed to work
No update since September 2013? Useless as always locks up at some point. Tested it on various phones with same result. Better to use your phones inbuilt camera turning flash off. Then use a photo editor app to get the positive etc.
I tried it and I got one good shot that actually looked like the colour negative print that I got! focusing just needs to be set to full on close up and the app is fine.

I bought the scanner then downloaded the advertised app. I wish I'd read the app reviews first. Directions for both were poor and not very helpful. I feel that I've wasted both money and time.

The frame capture window is too narrow to capture a whole Lomokino frame. Capturing a frame takes quite a bit of time. It does appear to focus now though. I have to press the capture frame button 5-10 time before it captures. After capturing 10 frames, the app crashed.
Mostly just a simplified camera app
Disappointed
Doesn't do anything correctly. I couldn't get a single good picture out of it. I use Helmut negative scanner now with awesome results... and it's free!
Making this app is a very great idea, but it's not woking properly as I expected. It crashes so I have to use other app on the G Market. This is a little bit disappointed. I do hope you guy work this out for better result. Thanks :-)

Using a HTC One X and can get the default camera to focus perfectly using 3 stands on the scanner and setting the ISO to daylight. Using this app I get photos that look like I have vaseline smeared on the lense. I have been awaiting this app purely for the Lomokino function. Looking forward to helping make this an awesome app.
The photos taken by the ap are always blurry in Samsung S3. With the default camera, it can focus fine, but with the app, all photos are out of focus. Unusable, for now...
it lags, it refuses to focus, it crashes and it takes me up to 5 minutes to take a photo... then it lags more.
It became blur after the auto focus triggered in S3. This app can't be use at all.
Does not focus at all on my galaxy Note II. bit of disappointed. Please fix.
This software does not load on a samsung galaxy s3. Once it is started it crashes every time.
After scan the film, I can't find the picture. Anyone can tell me where is the picture?
All functions including negative, b&w,....not working while it working in ios platform. It is easily hanged up as well. Expecting bugs fix soon.
At least they got the hardware right. Crashes before you can use it. Camera looks all distorted, but that doesn't matter because it'll crash before you can take the shot. I recommend the app called Helmut instead of this.
