Sun Sentinel

Articles are slow to load. They sold look at NY Times or Wall St Journal apps, where full stories load on each screen. Sun sentinel gives a snippet, and full story may never appear. Useless app.

The videos don't play, only audio works and the scroll is terrible. Prolly gonna cancel this subscription.

The content is good but it takes forever for articles to load

Decent coverage sometimes a little late with coverage of sports

I love being out of town and be able to see what's happening at home. Especially when you are out of town running from a hurricane.

We prefer the actual newspaper delivered to our door, but when on the road it's so nice to keep inform with local news.

Always slow, and forcing me to rate the app before seeing an article I pay for. You asked for it.

Frequently freezes, slow when it does run, sometimes lacks stories that are in the print edition.

They would sell more subscriptions if they made it more useful… .Sun-Sentinel and Miami Herald Have Not have not done a good job keeping up with what a mobile news app should be… lots news stories but still hard to find you interest… and they still trying to give you a full size news paper to navigate nice idea of you have time to pinch zoom and search all day… I wish the format was more like the guardian… but they are still stuck trying to work an old format into a Updated app.

I have been a subscriber for some time but this app has failed to recognize that multiple times. It then limits the number of stories that can be read.

Just a solid app. It gives me what I need, locally, on a daily basis.

I get the print edition of the Sun Sentinel. What I need from the app is a good search function, and this app's search is terrible. I have much better luck just typing Sun Sentinel into Google or Bing, along with the appropriate search terms.

I wish it could load faster and it's not my phone, the same problem is with the table. This has been the problem since the change months ago.

Old news mixed with new. Why no sort?

First of all the app takes forever to load at the splash screen. Once it does open the articles take another year to load. Always with the spinning "S"! Anyway this paywall that's been built into the app has turned me off from the Sun Sentinel entirely. I certainly don't have these problems with the Miami Herald app.

This service, while never top notch, has degraded to the point of unusable! Rather than reading articles as expected, I stare at spinning icons hoping that an article may eventually appear?

This app is slow to load if it ever does. Don't have the time to sit and wait for it.......

After I reinstalled the app, it works great.

I pay for digital subscriptions to the Sun-Sentinel and a sister newspaper (the Chicago Tribune), and both apps constantly limit me to 10 articles a month. What is the point of the subscriptions?

Search by name of columnist in today's paper does not show today's column.

If stories were sorted by most recent, would give a 5.

Horrible that you can only read 10 free stories on app when you can read all on site for free. This is a greedy app!!!!

Forever to load now too. Used to be 5 premium stories a month and unlimited free ones. Now no more than 10 total. AND that is with me being a paper subscriber and dealing with ads. Will soon delete app and cancel paper subscriptions.

Can only read ten stories a month without a paid subscription. plus you can't post comments on articles.

It's now more restrictive, I see less articles, and we get more intrusive ads. Bye bye.

The app locks up and restarts, runs slow, pics don't match articles sometimes and now they charge for this.

4.99 monthly is to much. Drop it down to 2.99 and it would be worth it.
