Trace and Draw

Find an elevated surface to place your devise on high enough from your sketch pad that you can get your entire sketch book page in frame. Select your photo and set the image how you prefer, but the TRICK IS FLIP THE PHOTO VERTICALLY AND PLACE DEVISE ON UPPER SURFACE SO MAJORITY OF DEVISE IS ON STEADY SURFACE AND CAMERA IS OVER THE EDGE. I like to use the torch to see my work more clearly and mostly use a shelf for devise and counter for sketch pad. Good luck!

Easy to use.great you can pick up reference and drawing from your gallery..... but PLEASE put a lock for the Image.I'm actually tracing with real tracing paper on top of the screen and will be perfect if it doesn't moveeeeee. still looking for the perfect app

My images looked scribbled after done! If your looking for an app to trace paper on top of phone then look up lightboxdroid is perfect! you can lock your screen and trace but most of all nobody understood the instructions you have to open your image through gallery then select "share" and then you will see the app light box android click on it and have fun tracing thank you!

The main problem is not from app, but holding smartphone above paper for long time is painfull, unless you have something to hold your phone

Out of several lightbox apps I tried, this one ended up my favorite. The controls take some time to figure out, but after a couple of drawings they become intuitive. Drawing is actually easy and gives surprisingly good results, especially when you use a stand or tripod (you can fashion yourself a simple one out of a cardboard box in five minutes) And for a free app with NO ADDS, what more can you want?

The best app to use on either a phone or a tablet. I am using this app to trace any picture onto iced biscuits or cookies...even letters. I take screen shots from any image I find on Google. I position the device between two boxes of approximately 20 cm, switch on the torch function in the menu, rotate the imageor resize it to 7cm x 7cm (cookie size) and simply follow the lines with either my piping bag containing icing or my paint brush. This app can project the smallest image and resize it even to a standard pillow size and vice a versa. Absolutely AMAZING and have been using this without any hassle for 2 years. My cookie bussiness is doing great as this app saves me a lot of time! Thanx guys!!!!!

After I built a phone stand it works great. I can move my phone close or away for a bigger trace. They have a great phone stand on Amazon.

Please update the camera API to support Nexus 5x. The camera is reversed and everything is inverted on the 5x.

The opacity is too high to see what I'm drawing. Its alright I guess

Kinda makes it difficult to trace something when it keeps moving. Would be a great app if you could actually use for its intended use.

This game is not the best game! I hated it it was the stupidest rubbishest pooey game ever been seen.

Not sure if app not compatible with phone size, but all I saw was the camera view. I opened a picture and the camera view was still in the back. No way to actually take a picture, no button visible. Could not do anything with opened picture either. This is not ready for Google Play store.

It didn't have a pen/pencil like screenshots show. The only options useful was alpha and line settings.

Thank you for this app..for those who rate them lower than 5 maybe your just not good at drawing.

Not good for tracing and it's a tracing app... Uninstalled almost immediately after trying it.

Why does it overlay an image you choose with the camera still on behind it? Why cant I lock images I choose? I just want to trace an image on my phone without it moving? What am I doing wrong?

It is sooooo hard to hold it and draw at the same time and when I tried to draw my gag it was so small and ugly. The device jerked and made me mess up and its always a blur of the pencil and you can barely see your lines through the screen. I RECOMENED NOT GETTING THE APP IT SUCKS AND ALWAYS WILL!!!!!!!

As like a shocker app u will use it with happiness. Really mazza as gaya .
