Photon Flash Player & Browser

I downloaded this app so I can do my inservices (work assignments). The app has a lightning volt on it which you have to push in order to watch videos, but ever since I had this app I have had to redo each assignment 4 or 5 times, due to the lightning volt turning itself off. With my assignments I am not allowed to pick up where I left off, I have to start over several times because of this app. This app truly, truly sucks. Get it right photon.

I have spent much time looking for a flash browser for my mobile device. Firefox, dolphin browser, and most others did not work. ONLY this one worked. My one issue is that the flash player must be turned on before every use. I would give it 3 stars but it destroys the competition. For android users with versions higher than 5 and uncommon phone type users who can't get adobe in some weird way, you get what you get. Hey, at least it works.

Excellent app. Does what I want - hassle free. (Edit) a year later... STILL hassle free and working as intended. And whilst I am updating this comment, I will chuck this info your way... A few people are moaning about the switching between mouse modes... I use an android phone with an otg adapter, to a mini USB hub. Plug in a mouse and keyboard, and your phone becomes a minicomputer... With a touchscreen display... Only downside is that you cannot charge your phone at the same time....

I liked this app pretty good until yesterday when it took away the option to use the flash player, now you have to upgrade to connect the flash player which is $9.99. This app is free and the flash player should be too, I kept trying thinking it was my device but its the app. Nothing more to say.

This app is a rip off of Puffin and even with Adobe 11 this app barely works and covers the screen with ads. Go get Puffin Browser and Adobe 11 for Android. Both are free and work together to play any flash media, games and more. Don't fall for this apps illusions

I also have tried Dolphin and one other browser and only Photon works. The free version does everything you ask for. I only wish it would open with flash mode already activated by default, but it's a very minor inconvenience.

Crashed on first time trying to use. Extremely slow and causes video content to stutter on a phone purchased in January 2017. Ugly ads that cover up the user interface on the Flash app. But if I pay $10 I am assured it will not be as bad...

Hello i have a problem. . See i used photon browser for almost 2 years now.. When i try to turn on flash browser it says i must upgrade to premium? In the beginning im pretty sure i spent 10 bucks already. . Please check, thank you

The flash player doesn't work. Whenever I attempted to use it the browser refreshed the page and wouldn't allow me into the link, where I needed the flash. Also the internet on photon is extremely slow. And the ads take a too much of the screen.

I need a browser that supports Flash. This does. Only frustration is that your display must remain on for the stream to continue. As soon as I lock the display the stream shuts off. I'd like to save battery by turning off my display but still listen. However, it allows me to stream the radio stations I need to listen to my FB team, so I cannot complain.

I paid this app creator long ago to have ads free access for a one time payment. Now I have ads, installed this app 4 years ago and was promised a one time payment only. Now I need to pay even more for ad-blocker I can get for free using Opera. Will change review once I get ad free back from what was promised.

Go to log into a site that required flash & I enabled the flash option & site starts to load but then get error message indicating need updated flash. Error on both Samsung tablet & Nexus 4 phone. Also when I'm in Chrome & go to open links Photon AUTOMATICALLY hijacks & opens in Photon. Uninstalled & went to different flash supported browser that worked.

Good point A flash player that works on android. Bad point - if you choose the freev version you do yet adverts before each flash session. Watch out though I just had one advertising a site with "curvy women that always say yes."

First time user. Already uninstalling! Crashed a lot! Had to open app few times before can actually surf anything. Flash works but not worth the effort. Too much effort required in keeping the app!

How the he'll do I get rid of yahoo search for Google? your settings options are terrible. Add a text size control too, this is what people want as a basic ui on tablets. None of you browser devs get it. Text increase, flash embedded and change of search engines is not asking much but hardly any do all 3. Jeeeeez.

Out of all the other apps out there that claims its flash capable. They cannot compare to photons true flash capabilities. Yet this app truely works in flash. Im sticking with you photon. All these other apps failed the flash test and doesnt meet the expectations photon does. Thank You. No others work for my device. I wonder why the raiting is so low.

Best app to watch website with flash videos... ???? I had tried lots of apps from play store and this is the only app that worked... If the dev team provides downloading option for flash videos, this would be much more better...????

I downloaded Photon so I could watch videos my Droid didn't support. I didn't download it so that it could hijack and dominate other apps. If I search something in Chrome, Photon opens it up in it's browser, and I found no way on my phone to alleviate that, which is why I'm deleting Photon after this review. That's annoying to say the least. Add to that there's no way to forward articles or links besides copy and paste. It's not worth keeping, even for free.

I tried to use this app to do an online defensive driving course for Uber. Unfortunately the flash portion kept shutting down and kicked me out of the course forcing me to start over from the last checkpoint. Will never use it again! If I could I'd give it 0 stars!

It kinda worked for what I wanted at first, which was to play Facebook games (like gsn or hot shot casino) on android devices. It says mine aren't compatible with the Adobe flash upgrade needed. But then I tried this and I was like awesome it's working! But then, it wouldn't finish loading the pages or actually playing the games right. That's not the worst part, because then the browser started opening new tabs and trying to download something. Proly a virus. Disappointed. Wish it'd work, sorry

I've been a Firefox Enthusiast for over a decade. So of course it's my main driver on Android. But Firefox quite often on my Nexus 7 can be quite sluggish when searching from the address bar. A small problem I know, but this is not only faster in that specific area, but it also supports flash. Bare in mind though Flash isn't entirely safe, but if you absolutely need to use Flash, this is good way. Flash Mode loads everything slower than non-Flash mode. But it's still pretty good. Using on a Nexus 7 (2013) on Android 6.0.

Low flash quality when it works....which is not too often. Also, has the most ads of any app I have ever used. UNINSTALLED.

All over people boast of giving browsers with flash content , but what is actually delivered is fake. Now This is a real thing . You just need to tap on the flash tab and you are done. Just enjoy. Seriously real thing and owes real respect.

Great way to connect with friends on video streaming sites like Picarto or Cytube. Pretty much all I use it for. Kinda wish the "upgrade" and "continue with ads" buttons wouldn't randomly switch sides though. Almost feels like you're trying to trick me into giving you money, but the joke's on you, I'm broke!

I've been using it for a year and I'm pretty happy with it, and that's why I keep renewing the premium version. I'm using it in my old Asus TF300T tablet, and it's the closest thing to a desktop browser. I haven't tried playing flash games yet, but I've tried it on video websites and the flash mode works amazingly well. Also, sites like imgur that mix animated gifs with web videos work pretty well in flash mode, and don't have the issue of reloading the entire page every few seconds like other premium browsers do, or crashing the app entirely. It's too bad the ad blocker option doesn't work in flash mode, otherwise it would be perfect.

Doesn't play any flash games or videos. Only plays singular frames in a disorienting slideshow of low quality blurs. Don't waste your time.

Not as good as I thought. the app does fairly well except that the flash keeps timing out in the middle of my sessions. also, the images are a bit grainy, or slightly out of focus. I bought the full version ($9.99 USD) hoping it would be better but all it did was remove the ads. I was robbed. I suppose I should've read some of these reviews. I've since downloaded Puffin and it's doing much better even in it's free version. Puffin's Pro version is only $1.99USD. by the way. but right now, I'm fine. (except for the money I lost)

Works great, there are a couple issues like not being able to change the default search engine. But does as advertised otherwise. I'll admit that the free version is annoying as hell with adds.

This app is a big lie.. first 2 minute as for free then it will ask u to become premium to buy it to make it work

I have used iphone version. It was excellent. Now i am using android. Audio is not cleared while using the flash mode. Only hizzing sound is hearing not the proper audio.I have registered a complant. No respond.

I've tried other apps that promised support for Flash content but this is the only one that does what it says. Sometimes, content gets laggy, but it's bearable. Thanks devs!

I needed a browser that would load flash on my phone. This one does the trick. Use it several times a day. Can be a bit glitchy at times and loads things oddly, but I just reload and it's all good. Paid for premium, don't notice any speed difference, but it's nice to have a full page without the banner ad.

Paid the money to have full screen and ad free, the flash player is hit and miss and I'm still getting a lot of adds. Was better last yr.

Too many ads but I like it alot!!! Now im able to watch church on Sundays when I can't make it. The viewing screen won't expand

Immediately uninstalled couldn't access sites with flash. Banner ad is huge. Not impressed.

I finally got my basic $19.99 coolpad arise smartphone to play .swfs. Not bad after my first few seconds of trying it. It said click the lightning icon to activate flash mode and it did just that and relieved alot of stress. My only issue is i'd like for it to activate full zoom on double click/tap but it doesn't. The separating fingers zoom still works though.

If I'm using chrome I should be on chrome. Don't force me jump to this browser every time something is clicked. Only had it for like 3/4 hours and disappointed already. Deleting it if this issue gets fixed might come back otherwise won't waste my time with it

It has the flash plugin & I confirmed it by playing a video online on Chrome, Firefox, UC browsers. Firefox played it but is a little buggy, while the rest two couldn't at all! This one played it exceptionally well. But yes ads are occupying too much space & it takes a huge 150Mb RAM while running. That's the only reason I uninstalled it!
