Mammoth

All things considered, this is a very useful app, but the content that is most important to a visiting skier/boarder - current and forecasted conditions - is not always truthful. After 2+ days of rain and very wet snow, conditions are listed as "powder packed-powder". The only "powder" there today, is in the bakery! I love my Mammoth Mountain!

Generally pretty good. I don't have any problems with the trail map and the "locate me" seems to be pretty close. Summit Winds always read as '0' mph. The run tracking is nice, but they need to fix the ability to export to .kml files for sharing with friends - currently creates a 113 byte file which puts you at Mammoth, but doesn't show the run trace you see on your phone. It appears that lift status updates about every 30 minutes. Would be nice if you could archive past seasons data so you can compare how you're doing this season. If you're wondering the white cross on red square in the upper left of the home screen is (so the hosts tell me) a direct dial to ski patrol - which fortunately I've never had to test.

This app is a must especially if you're new to Mammoth. I took a wrong turn and ended up at a different base and used the trail map in this app to make it back. Very useful in locating trail specific to your skill level. Easy to use!

A lot of stuff you don't need, and it doesn't really work well. The maps are horrible. Lift waiting times would basic info

They have hidden the lift and Trail status or removed it. Idiotic the most important thing to a skier or mountain biker or snowboarder

1) I don't know why this app insists on Bluetooth; after starting Record it missed 2 days because it was waiting for permission to turn BT on. 2) After skiing all day today it says I did 3 runs. I have the latest Samsung SM-G935V Edge.

The lift status and wind report is useless. States wind is 0mph at summit when it is 80mph .

Not responsive on Google flagship Pixel. Using GPS in the middle of the night

Lists open lifts. Weather info does not seem to be updated to, say, every hour. Some nice other features, like vertical feet tracking.

So cool to be able to track runs and verticle. Also the speed tracking is slick. Like to be able to get tickets and deals.

Love Mammoth...this app is a good fix for me!

This program is terrible. It does not show lift and Trail status on the map. The lift status is embedded deep in reports. You have to memorize what's open and what's not and then cross-reference to the map. It's awful.

Good app, but would like to see functionality showing open trails and lifts. There is a small bug when zooming into map and moving around, the app brings up other map (back/front mountain)

Totally useless. I can Google the info faster than opening this app.

It can definetly use improvement for the map navigation and load times... BUT after going to mammoth this last tuesday and playing with it, recording sessions with friends and social content it was a blast to use and added to the mammoth experience

Nice start..but lift and trail status would be real nice to know in real time..maps in tix office has cool map that would be great to see on app

Great app

Brand new Pixel phone... This is the slowest loading app I have. Takes about 45 seconds on the splash screen "loading map detail," then asks every single time to turn on Bluetooth for extra features... I said no already, thank you. I'll re-install later and see if it improves.

I had over 20 runs according to the Mammoth app before my last run. Max speed 35. Got in my car and as I drive down the mountain road it suddenly showed zero runs!

I truly want to love this app but it sucks. Takes forever to load, runs the battery like crazy and has little benefit whatsoever.

This app usually takes a long time to update data and is missing some nice features that the other mammoth mountain lift status app has. I look to this app for events and lift status. I think the other unofficial app has better weather and transportation information.

Could be pilot error but first time using indicated more runs and more Vertical than my Garmin fenix3 watch.

Crashes whenever started, and frequently in the background. Can't use at all. Worked okay last year on my previous phone.

Takes an eternity to load. You'll likely run out of battery before you get past the splash screen.

For release 5.6.0, I am seeing incorrect temperatures reported on the Reports/Weather Report page on two different android devices.
