Sinatra forma parte del Grupo Oliver, grupo creado en Mallorca en 1948. Nace de la mano de Guillermo Oliver, en los albores de una época dorada para la expansión turística. Sus humildes comienzos en el mundo de la moda y el negocio textil fueron en el sector de los bordados a mano, para paulatinamente industrializarse y crecer; rápidamente se progresó en las ramificaciones empresariales por la geografía de España, incluyendo las islas Canarias.

En esta fase de incipiente crecimiento turístico, Grupo Oliver amplía su negocio hacia la renombrada industria de la piel de las islas, hasta llegar a implantar una fábrica en Mallorca. Desde esta factoría, 213 empleados surten a las 21 tiendas propias, repartidas por la costa mediterránea y las Islas Canarias; además, se exporta a países como Japón y Alemania.
