El grupo hotelero Aroi nace en Ponferrada con el objetivo de ofrecer, en la capital de la comarca del Bierzo, un servicio hotelero y gastronómico de primer nivel, que proporcione al viajero que se acerque a nuestra tierra un alojamiento donde se unan la calidad y comodidad, y donde además, tanto el viajero como el cliente local puedan encontrar el lugar donde probar la mejor gastronomía de la zona en un marco elegante y acogedor.

Comienza así en 2009 la gestión del complejo Aroi Bierzo Plaza, integrado por el hotel, el restaurante La Violeta y el mesón cervecería La Taberna.

A principios del año 2010 se celebró la inauguración del segundo hotel que el grupo abre en Ponferrada, un moderno y urbano hotel de 4 estrellas, situado en el centro de la ciudad, a 20 metros de la Avenida de España, centro de la zona comercial y empresarial de la capital berciana.
