Amazing app. I suddenly had all these pop up ads from ad choice all the time. I was told to remove the infected apps but couldn't figure it out til I installed this app. No more pop up ads. 5 stars. Simple and gets the job done. Thank you very much for this app. You saved my phone

There is some app on my phone that creates pop up adds Abd I mande no clue what it is. I hope this tool will help me find, it, delete it and then go after the app developers Abd their families.

This app just saved my phone with an annoying ad popup after phone unlocks. This app allowed me to find a blank app causing the ad and now it's gone. Thank you very much!!

Hi! I like this app & i have a query, please help. This app shows concerns & list ads driven by whichever application but does show the way to block or stop receiving ads. I'm hounded by various ads from Google play, games & many more. Please let me know how do i block it ?

It is not able to detect any malware. It's more like a app manager. When one can see apps through settings, why would anyone need this app?

I've had this app installed in my various phones for some time. After updating to Oreo, my phone became very sluggish. Everything slowed down, the phone heated up, and the battery drained very fast. I finally tracked the problem down to AppBrain. It was causing 25% of the battery drain. Once I uninstalled it, my phone speeded up, the battery lasted much longer, and I don't notice the heating problem.

It doesn't block anything. I'm being bombarded with ads and pop ups. It made absolutely no difference!

Hands down amazing. I never usually give reviews unless it is that good. The ad pop problem is giving me a headache and this app solves it just like that.

Great app.. went and found and old app that had been removed from the playstore for adding in adware in an update. This app allowed me to remove it and end the 10 pop ups every 2 minutes

Omg there is a app I click on and spams ads and omg it wasn't on the screen so I can't see it but I knew it was there, this app let me uninstall it! Best app EVER!

For an app that's so great at detecting ads, it doesn't do jack s**t to block them. Completely pointless.

Pretty solid program. Only gripe is, is there even a way to stop ads directly? Isn't that the reason we make adblockers to begin with? Could this app hold the key to blocking ads in apps? Also found it hilarious it actually detects ting, a Sprint service! Does give some insight on how ads work though, 4/5. ArceusFan2013.

Thank you so much for this wonderful app! I was having popup ads on my home screen and could not figure out why but with the help of this app, I discovered that a scam app had somehow installed itself on my phone, advertised itself as the "system" app, and kept itself hidden from view on the phone. I would have never be able to see it and uninstall it without this app. Wish I could give 10 stars!

It detects Avast! As the highest threat/security concern. And even not counting apps i installed, the Alarm app that comes default with Android 4.4.2 KitKat is in the same threat/concern level as Avast!

The only app I know that does what it does, and it does so amazingly well. As soon as I install it, it tells me, exactly what's been causing pop-ups, and let's me uninstall it, even if the app has hidden itself from my app drawer. It does even more than I was expecting it to. It even lists all your apps with access to your location, contacts, or accounts. Couldn't ask for more.

*removes a lot of pop-ups from the home page. *however, I have experienced more banner ads after installing which is not as big of a concern as pop-up adware. *pop-ups still exist for me, bit mostly within aps like snapchat, whatsapp, facebook. I would really like to know if I could eliminate those ads as well. *overall a good effective app, but does not eliminate all.

Never bother leaving reviews, but this app deserves it! Made it easy to identify which app was causing ads, deactivated Administrator permissions and uninstalled it. Problem solved. Thanks a lot!!

I was having trouble with advertisements and adware sneaking themselves in with software updates. This app located them and after that uninstall was swift. Thanks!

But even on the other, old phone of mine it does a wonderful job and spares us some tremendous head aches from those parasites called ad-pushing pseudo programmers... making money on our backs, and then they call it free... tstststss A BIG THANK YOU

Downloaded a bad .apk game last night, was getting ads every time I came out of my lock screen. This app showed a blank concern with admin permissions, let me disable permissions and remove it. Thanks guys, good app.

Awesome! My phone was getting stuck each time an ad popped. It was annoying this ad helped me recognize and remove such apps which contains ads. Now the phone works well! Great job

It ended all my problems by killing all pop ups appearing on my home screen whenever I was connected to WiFi....Thanx for this app

...It's not gonna help you remove or stop ads, but rather it'll tell you what the apps on your device are phishing and passing along. It's findings are quite interesting. **You then have the option of removing THOSE offending apps. **That's all well and good, but what's its use to me really? I've still got apps on my device BECAUSE I WANT/NEED them and don't wish/want to remove them! **I am NOT removing this app just yet though. **It's findings are way too interesting as to what MOST devs are scheming up!

Does nothing but tells me stuff I already know and takes up much needed space on my device

Getting the, "Unfortunately App Brain Ad Detector has stopped" error messages on a regular basis. Must not be supported anymore...

I love it!! It helped me identify a psuh notification with ads app and I gave a 1 star reviewStartAppkou and download its is awesome!! BTW the app was called mp3 downloader idrisyou and the companies that give push ads are AirPush, Appenda,LeadBolt, Moolah Media, and StartApp

I finally found an app that worked and found the app that kept making ads pop up on my phone non stop thank you guys so much i couldn't locate it on my own it was hidden thank you guys so much for this app XD

I don't know why this app is calling the Internet 2-3 times per minute. I stopped it with a firewall, but now I am installing. No more AppBrain Anything for me.

Don't see the helpfulness of an app that shows you "concerns" and then doesn't have the capability to do anything about them. Just increases the frustration.

Since installing this gotta say im impressed lets me know whats going on and the real time has been working too good work keep it up !!

There's this apk I installed online and I accidentally allowed it to have administration access so it would just randomly pop up and open as I was doing something random on my phone but then I used this app and found out that the access I gave that spam app is actually called "administration" so I turned that spam app's administration and then I could uninstall it

It helped me know every installed application status as security and ads supported now and which to unistall apps that draining my phone's battery . For critics go use paper and pencil instead of a smart phone giving bad reviews not showing gratitude to developers work .

I am using samsung galaxy tab 2. This app failed to block ads even the worse part is this app is showing its own popup ads on my tab. Uninstalling withing 5min of download.

Installed this in hopes that it would help me find the app thats giving me fullscreen ads when I unlock screen. It just told me which of my apps had ads, which I already knew.
