SwipeSwitcher Lite for Android
Would be far less enjoyable experience without this app. Thanks for making it.
Should have sold app instead of relying on ads. Never updated so almost always not running. Uninstalled and replaced with ersatz substitute.
But stops incessantly.
Needs to be swipe only not press and swipe otherwise interferes too much with normal use.
Only request is to add possibility to swipe from bottom of the screen. Also maybe swipe and get the functionality of the back button
One of those apps that are so simple yet so well executed and clean that it make it one of the best apps on the market.
Simple to set up and use. No call permissions, no ads. Very customizable. Swipe inwards then up at halfway point to work. Love it. Htc wildfire froyo.
Very Nice program good working :)
Best kept secret in the Android market. I can fly between browser and SMS.
perfect stylish app....pls provide a striking setting interface...
its awesome, but if there are no apps in the backgorund, it opens the dialer and sometimes widgetlocker. Option to blacklist some apps in future updates?
...it's because they're extremely useful. This ranks among the likes of WaveLauncher and SwipePad. Actually, this is better than either of those. On a side note, when you swipe left, it would be cool if the transition moved left. And maybe if you could swipe through all open applications, that would be awesome. But as it stands, this app is staying on my Captivate. Apps like this are proof Android is better than iOS.
Simple easy way to switch between running apps. I don't need to touch the Task Manager.
can we swipe apps backward & farrward not just pre application?
Its a very nice app. But like others have said. More multitasking for each swipe.
does what it says. might need a little bit of getting used to due to swipe-start-area blocking keypad.
I use it with swipe pad so I have a launcher and a task switcher makes for quick switches between all my favorite apps.
Switching to more than the previous app would be great... i.e. swiping twice => second last open app, three times for third last app...
I signed in to comment about the app not working, but it turned out I was confused about the direction of swiping. I thought swiping was vertical along the bars but it's horizontal away from the bar. A little explanation might be helpful for others:) Thanks for the great app. I love it.
Hope it would be developed like the Nokia N9's multitasking interface. I wish i could view an overview of the recently opened apps by swiping on one side and the other side opens the most recent opened app just like what it does currently.
In swipeswitcher, I have no idea what I'm swiping into
Cool
Just what I wanted
good task switching in the world
this is not working on my new Moto X (with 4.2) still works fine on razr mHD...... has the same behavior as other reviewer(Aayush) describes it will work if you open an app directly from apps list or from a shortcut on one of my screens. it is now treating the recent apps list screen as an app itself on your tool-- hope that helps 2nov13 i have wanted this for a long time. if you have two things to look at--- this gives you the quickest way to do it--- one single flick of your finger . it effectively makes the screen larger by allowing rapid change from one app to another.------ it will not do app switching with six apps, if that is what you want use swipepad or androids native switcher(cards). that said there are a couple of minor problems when you make changes to its settings, they do not take effect--- confusing -- until you kill the app and restart it(enabling and disabling does not do it). for this reason and because it can interfere with other screen actions-- it needs to be easier to shut off and how to use instructions --what does "3. touch up" mean thank you for providing this app Kato-san -- look forward to full version
The idea is great: you swipe in from the top left or right side of the screen to switch to the last app you were using, without losing your place in the current one. It’s very similar to the same feature on the iPad. However, the app has some critical flaws: 1. If you were last on the recent apps screen, it goes to that screen instead of the previous app you were using. 90% of the time, this app ends up being utterly useless for me because of this nonsensical behaviour. 2. It does not allow you to add any apps to a list of exceptions. I use AppDialer to launch apps and it goes back to that instead of the app I was using last. 3. It does not work in exDialer for some reason. If exDialer is active and you do the swipe, it’ll simply not switch to the previous app. These three major bugs mean that I end up performing the gesture many times only to find out that it does not work as I’d expected it to. I emailed the developers with my suggestions but didn’t receive any response. I really want to love this app…
you should add the ability to swipe thru all open apps! like windows 8! I'd pay for that!
But would have been great if it had the same functionalit y as windows 8 tablet. hope the developer adds tje ability to swype through all open apps, will pay for that for sure.
I use this along with Counter Launcher and SwipePad.
what a waste only switch to loop back & forth in 2 tasks only...
awsome
Unfortunately, it's very unresponsive and doesn't work properly.
Very useful
Instead of switching to the prev app, it loads the 'Recent Apps' pop-up instead. Please make it ignore com.android.sidekick. It worked correctly on my rooted Acer Liquid E using the stock ROM, though It's also a bit buggy. I've had it FC, and sometimes the bar appears on the screen, and the only way to hide it is to manually kill the app!
Does a great job keeping it simple. This is the best and easiest way to go back to previous applications.
This would be the best app ever if it had the option to switch between more than 2 apps!! Very good.app!!
Works very well, and only uses 2.2mb of ram!
left half side swipe sensitivity is not so good. please improvement.
You hv a great app, update so that one doesn't have to open the app after every reboot... It also force closes at times ... So please make what I feel is the best cool app of Android, better...

Can't seem to get it working on lollipop galaxy note 4. Anyone else having issues?
