About Calendar Pro/en - test version
This is a free test version that can be used for evaluation purposes. Therefore it has heavy limitations: It is limited to only manage events up to the current date. Events after today are not visible in the calendar or in its widgets. In addition, it is not possible to buy in-app purchases when using this test version.
The application does not contain any advertisements, although it is free of charge.
With this product you can manage the same events as the standard Android calendar, but in addition you will get a great overview over the current month. The calendar is very fast, and includes great features like overview/detail mode, searching for events and jumping to specific dates.

You can browse the years 2011-2036 (Android < 4.0.3: 2011-2022). Moon Phases is included for 2011-2030 (Android < 4.0.3: 2011-2022). Calendar Pro/en supports built-in holidays for UK, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, France, Norway and Finland. Flag days and name-days are also included for many of these countries (see below). Note that the week's first day and number adapt to the device region.
The calendar is tested and designed for phones & tablets running Android from version 2.1 up to the latest version of Android 7, using several different brands of devices. Furthermore, it is tested with Google- and Exchange accounts.
Functions:

The screen shots don't look like a native Android app, and that is exactly what it feels like - a not-too-good port from another OS (probably of their iOS apps, which just happen to be Month & Day View calendars!). Each time you go to the app, or change between month & day views, there is a short delay accompanied by a "Loading events ..." message. Kind of annoying, and is not something I've seen in competing Calendar apps which have been written specifically for Android. Scrolling isn't quite as smooth as native Android apps. The search function is very slow compared to the competiting (native) apps. The documentation warns that it's "cached" events can get out of sync with Android's own calendar. Again this is not something that would happen with a native Android app. I guess this is how they had to do it for iOS, so they have just reused their calendar code. There are much better Calendar apps out there, so steer clear unless they massively improve it (or more likely completely rewrite it from scratch).

Can only view one month thar we're in... Unless you pay!

I like the first view - you get a good view of the month, but the navigation and the rest of the application, like editing mode, look like a Windows app from mid 90's. You should really spend some time on the design, it's not very appealing.
