Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Kelvin Lopes grew up a basketball player, graffiti art enthusiast, and has always been passionate about style and fashion. He moved to Vancouver, Canada, in 2012 to study marketing and to work as a model.

KL is often asked by his friends and colleagues for advice on style, such as what to wear, how to wear, and where to buy. This is because they are usually influenced by the way KL dresses. KL believes anyone can look and feel good about themselves if effort is put into dressing well.
