B31G Corrosion Assessment

This App calculates the remaining strength of corroded pipelines following ASME B31G code. The user can determine the safe maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) for corroded pipelines. Please refer to ASME B31G code for acceptable applications, limitations and exclusions. This App is limited to Level 1 evaluation, only formula for case (a) (original B31G) is implemented. Flow stress is defined by: sflow = 1.1 * smys Material data is based on API 5L grades. Please choose an adequate safety factor (1/design factor) for corrosion assessment, according to the relevant standard. Note that this App is only for users with expert knowledge and experience in high pressure piping systems.
