Location data is pooled with data collected from thousands of GeoTask members to provide meaningful insights to third parties. Analytics and reporting are limited to aggregates of multiple users. Opt out at any time by uninstalling the app. Data provided by your phone is anonymous and does not include your phone number or identity. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

'I have no idea to earn points. No idea what competition I appear to have entered or what the prize is. No idea what data you are collecting or what you intend to do with it. In short I can't see any point in retaining this app as this project gives every impression of having been abandoned before it got started. Anyone care to respond?' [Jan 2016 A response! Just had an email asking me to remove this review. However this was an honest appraisal of the state of the app and its website at that time.]

Pointless waste of battery and memory: Uninstalled.

Updated.... Don't earn points every day as stated so a bit misleading. Not had any for 11 days now & I work in & around our town 6 days a week. Apart from that, app runs quietly in the background & doesn't drain my battery. Update: 14/09/16 Reinstalled app on new phone 03/09/16(old was stolen) & couldn't get into account even after trying password reset numerous times. I made contact on the 5th for some help heard nothing until the 9th asking for just my email in which I gave within 10 mins . I have heard nothing since despite me messaging another 2 times for help. Appalling support in fact it's non-existent. UNINSTALLED now & I won't recommend to people anymore.
