Free Checkbook Ledger

It's simple and pretty basic, which is nice sometimes in an overly complex world. It works to help you track what you are spending and keep running balances on your different accounts.

Helpful but seems a bit complex. I thought that the screen shot for "Scheduled Transaction" would be the way you enter all transactions. It is large and clear. In reality the screen seems small and a bit packed. It is a good app but it needs a way to enter transactions faster/simpler.

It's simple to use and I like it, but it crashes when it's time to back it up. I also don't like that the list changes every month and u can't go to the previous month to see the full list anymore. Only day by day.

GREAT APP...only thing needed is to have the register in LANDSCAPE MODE...would make it so much better, then I will rate 5 stars...heck i would even be willing to pay $1 for the upgrade. Otherwise, keep up great work

It's a simple ledger for keeping track of your accounts. The UI is simple and easy to use, the ads are infrequent. Nicely done.

Love this app for keeping track of my spending. Not everything posts to the bank account immediately, so this is perfect for not forgetting and knowing exactly how much money you have.

This is a really great app. It does exactly what I need in order to keep an accurate balance in my checking account. And it is so easy to use. I highly recommend it!

I like the simplicity, since I only use it to keep track of daily transactions. Would have given five stars of I could get the spreadsheet export function to actually save something. If it does I can't find the file anywhere

It's a check book register. Works for me and my non tech mind. Used Account 2 on IOS and loved it. This is very much the same and very thankful to the developer! Big thank you!

Would pay money just to get rid of the ads. And it be nice if the TOTAL was always at the top or bottom instead of scrolling further down the screen.

This app helps me monitor my investment portfolio . it's also easy to use. However I would to categorize sources of income and expenses.

My actual bank app handles all my linking and banking tasks. This app is a plain simple easy to use ledger that works great.

Like the recurring option but want a rolling log, not broken out by month. Uninstalled due to ads.

Crashes when trying to use the Backup button.

This outta make my taxes a bit easier. I can export all my data into an xls format. Super neat

I deal with numbers and account all day for work through QuickBooks. I wish I could use this app to keep track of clients finances.

Supremely good app for having banking information instantly at hand without having to logon to one's "financial homebase" website.

There should be a eay to do away with the ads. But excellent for records and balances for multiple accounts. Credit cards too.

Exactly what I wanted. I would like for it to have a check mark option for when items clear instead of the green highlight.

Very easy to use to keep your balance. Haven't tried the other features.

A good simple checkbook register to keep track of credits and debits to the checking account.

The App works very well with the exception of crashing when trying to use the Backup function. I have used a different app for the past two years that I really loved that has recently stopped working. I love that this app works very similar to the one i used before. Would it be possible to add a ledger balance versus available balance function to track what your balance is when considering items that have cleared? That would be very helpful.

I changed to this all after getting frustrated with Quicken. It is easier to keep up with entries because it is on my phone. Two improvements would make me give it a 5 star rating. I wish there was a way to mark items reconciled instead of just cleared or there was a more permanent way to make them cleared. I often clear or unclear items by mistake when I am scrolling. Also I would like it if accounts could be linked so when I make a transfer from one account to another I don't have to make the entry in both accounts. Besides that it is a great simple to use app and I haven't found anything better to meet my needs.

Good for a checkbook register off my laptop. It's a little clumsy to check against my bank accounts as I have to close the register to open the account apps, then either write down the transactions or remember them and re-open the register. Does about anything I need. I don't like the transactions being divided by month. Better for the transactions to be in a list.

So far I like it except for one thing. It only displays on portrait setting, and I would really like to be able to turn it to a landscape position. I have my tablet set on auto rotate, but the app won't turn it.

Crashes every time I try to back up the database. Back arrow doesn't work in register view. Other than that, a nice, simple, functional app. (Samsung Galaxy Note 4)

Helped me keep track of cash expenditures easily and simply, which is what I wanted. Unfortunately it has loud, full screen ads that surprised me and disrupted the quiet room I was in. Uninstalling.
