About Random Student
This free version allows teacher and educators to try out all the features of the app for one class of up to 200 students. The paid version allows up to 20 classes with a maximum of 200 students per class.
Features
• import students from Google Classroom, CSV file, or the Teacher Aide app
• select a student at random
• device speaks name aloud
• name quiz feature to learn student names quickly
• track correct and incorrect responses
• create custom and random student groups
Students enjoy the Speak Aloud feature in my classroom. Participation is more equitable and students really do enjoy participating in activities more when using the app. Perhaps users will find another setting where this app may be useful

I am excited to use this app, but can only add 20 students. Every time I try adding another student the information doesn't save. I have 30 students

As a classroom teacher this app is extremely handy. Avoid students saying why did you call on me. The app does it for you. Has many wonderful options including phonemic name. Ability to call on students only one till you finish them all or completely random. It is obvious the developer put a lot of time and thought into the features. Many features I was looking for I found he actually put in. I bought the pro version to support the developer out of appreciation for such a useful and wonderful app.

I love this app! I use it daily to call on students and, later, use the resulting percentage as a quiz grade! Every time I contact the developers, I get prompt and helpful responses. Thanks Random Student!

I liked the name call function and the ability to check question distribution. Teaching overseas, I also like the option of phonetic pronunciation. My main dislike is the awkward method to create and import class names which is tricky first time.
