Random Student Pro

For this app, it is a MAJOR PROBLEM that student PICTURES and names are stored in internal phone memory & not SD card. Although the app is useful, if you 100+ students as most teachers do, you will kill your phone by using up the internal memory.

This app could make groups really quickly. I use this app multiple times every day. However, all week long, this app has been crashing every time I go to use it. It is super frustrating because I'm using it when I'm in front of my students and we are just about to do an activity. Then I have to make the groups which defeats the whole point of me buying this app. Reported the problem many times and no response from developers. Very disappointed. Unreliable app.

Minor issues: grouping screenshots are dependent on the device's screen size, and I wish the "Class reset" and "Other apps" buttons were hidden to prevent accidental taps. Otherwise, this is a fantastic and useful classroom app. Update: The developer is great and made the requested changes! I love it. Thank you!

I LOVE this app, I like that I can mark students absent; nothing kills the momentum of a lesson like drawing the name of a student who is absent. I also use it to select groups or partners for cooperative learning. Fantastic! Developer is quick to respond to questions and is very helpful. NOTE: When I wanted to import a backup, I had to add an extension before my backup would work. The extension is .rsf

Could be easier to load data like csv files

Thank you. I like being able to put in up to 20 classes. I need more classes though. I travel to various schools and classrooms, so just one of my schools takes up the 20 allowed. Love the option to deactivate an absent student! Very happy the app allows me to mark correct or incorrect. Lets me keep up with who needs extra help. Reset options are great! Phonetic pronunciation options are mostly correct. No other app that I know of has that. Hope you add more classes. Thanks!

It was not as intuitive or useful as I was hoping for. The name learning function was not built in and actually runs from a separate program that is not connected to the main program.

This is great and my students love it but for the life of me I can,t work out how to display more than the 10 classes that are highlighted initially - how is it done?

I keep up with attendance and the students get a kick when my phone calls on them.

Worked well for a week, but now is mixing up students from different classes

It is exactly what I need. I have 1 student as my "helper" every day. This makes it random, and makes sure everyone gets picked before someone gets a second turn. The grouping options are also extremely helpful
