Copilot X for Android
Just downloaded the app and it took me all of 2 or 3 minutes to set up. I Love it! Beats the heck out of my Saitek radio panel. Great job to the author. Next I guess I will try to learn the programming language for the commands. I like to run my plane loud but my Samsung doesn't like that LOL. Maybe I need a little stand to hold the phone closer to my mouth to interpret the commands better. In my case the second IP address shown was the one for my computer but one can always do an ipconfig command from windows. Windows Key-R then CMD then Enter then type ipconfig. Look for the IPV4 address
Out of the box it is a very good app. Initially I was not able to get it to work but it was no fault of the app. After I updated Google Search it suddenly began to work. It is especially good when a quick response is required while flying online with ATC. Finally I can't say enough about Customer Service, if you need help, you got it. So, if your considering purchasing this app, go ahead, pull the trigger, it works nicely on my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T.
This is a great application for serious x-plane users. I had problems with the installation, however,. one email to the developer and he returned my email within minutes. Support is unbelievably GREAT. Thanks Kevin. Frank
It draws people in and once they have given the money they find out that it is on computer!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't like spending money on apps, but this one was worth it. Most useful for punching in all the numbers at the beginning of a flight. Also great for control outside of cockpit view.
Copilot X has been the most useful app I've downloaded for X-Plane, hands down. No more fiddling with comm knobs or little switches. This allows me to focus on the flying while utilizing the full-screen outside view as I don't need access to the switches. I use XHSI on a separate screen for my instruments. A truly innovative product that Laminar Research would do well to observe very closely.
One of the best ideas for Xplane so far, manipulating switches and radio knobs by commands through voice recognition is a brilliant and useful idea. Customer support is outstanding, developer was quick to respond to my questions and very helpful. Highly recommended!!!!!
When I start up the app. It's just stuck on the screen with a robot on it.
I mainly bought the program to change the obs while practicing for ifr. At first it didn't work, so I emailed the developer and asked to change his program. It turned or Google made a change in their voice to text which essentially broke it. He made the change within a day or two and it now works great. Only small request was for add a command for one 'notch', but he quickly responded as to why he couldn't do it. This is a great tool for your sim
This is a great app and makes flying on X-Plane much easier! On suggestion I have though is maybe add a button that one pushed it shows you a list of basic commands you can give the app. Other that that, this app is great!!
GREAT and highly functional app. Easy to install and adds huge functionality to X-plane 10. A must have for saving time vs. mouse, left/right, clicking, etc. I guarantee you will love this one!
The program is very quick to respond on xp10. it has its limits in the sense that some commands don't work because of the voice recognition not understanding my voice. Would I recommend......yes. Bluetooth headset support would be great.
This app is incredibly useful, especially if you're using a head tracking software and don't have an easy time mousing over buttons or knobs. I found it completely by accident, but am glad I did. Be sure to try google voice search or something else that uses google voice so you know if it will understand you easily.
This app works great. Fabulous job. Thank you.

The ability to configure auto pilot settings by voice rather than using the mouse or controller is really great. It is like having a co-pilot to help you set up the flight director and radio settings. Arm the speedbrake and disable the flight director on short final approach with a few simple voice commands while keeping your hand on the yoke or joystick. Very helpful little app.
