myTucson for Android
We need more interactive apps with local response agencies. Let's all use this and tag the taggers.
it doesn't seem to work. I got it to work (took the pic, located accurately) all the way up to "submit". Then all I get is an "Internal Server Error" message. I exited out and lost all the data including the picture, which as mentioned by others does not store to your gallery. I'll have to drive past the graffiti (and go back through all 9 or whatever of the screens, painstakingly entering data...while driving? No...while pulled over in whatever crummy neighborhood the tag is in...no thanks. Maybe I'll just take a pic and report online.
Appallingly bad starting with the "Ok" button (capitalized just so) that shows the developers don't even know about android.R.string.ok. Then comes the screen with a "back" button on it where the built-in back button doesn't work as expected. From the looks of it, this app should have been really simple. I am a Tucsonan and a professional Android developer. Attention, city drones: I will rewrite this app for you ABSOLUTELY FREE just so I can put it on my resume.

I do software quality assurance and would have never released this based on usability. For starters, this is a MOBILE application. I would imagine the designers would have considered it would be used in, I dunno... a MOBILE capacity? If they had, the UI would have been made to be slightly less cumbersome and much more intuitive. To wit - It should not take 9-15 screens to report an issue. - A photo is required but I can't select it from my gallery? I have to stop the car, navigate through 9-13 screens in order to report an issue? - Typeahead in the text screens jumps ahead and randomly inserts/deletes spaces. - Whatever GPS API being used is a joke. "Accurate within 1500m?" Seriously? Every other app that pinpoints my location via GPS is accurate within 10m. For issues at Campbell and Glenn, I was pinpointed at Campbell and Grant. - Screens are woefully lacking descriptions and instructions. What "Citizen Abatement" mean? "Subscribe" to what? - Reporter has an 'anonymous" option that, if selected, will not let you continue without providing name, mobile number, and email. Do you know what "anonymous" means? Suggest you rename to "My Rio Nuevo" Back to SeeClckFix for me.
Very basic application. Only used to report graffiti. Sad that Tucson needs this application!
This made it super easy to report graffiti. No need to call police. No waiting to file a report. And they came and cleaned it really fast! ... 1 star because of T-mobile restrictions or because graffiti should be legal? =lame. this app is great.
I was expecting something like tuscon news. But its just for reporting graffiti? SrSly WTF? Stupid.
Developer fails to note this app is only made to report graffiti for removal. Useful if you have that problem.
This app doesn't work at all. I've tried to submit tagging for cleanup & all pictures come out as a gray block. Too bad. My mom's neighborhood is filled.
@Jeff - it's not art if its being put on someones property who doecnt want it there, thats vandalism dude. @Freddy - 50% is too low, 75% is trash ez
@Jeff not when more than half of it is garbage
Graffiti shouldnt be a criminal offense, its art.
I think it works as long as you don't have an T-Mobile Android. T-Mobile restricts paying customers from free use of market and web
Great idea. Tale a picture and help defeat graffiti. Take a picture and send it in. Nope. Take a picture exit back to app and you are in an endless loop. You can never submit a picture. Waste of time and taxpayer money.
Great app. I just wish I could catch those talentless little jerks.
