I recommend this to anyone who has a new baby or is expecting. It's great to just tap the app instead of saying shh over & over. Plus you can increase the vol w/o making yourself hoarse & when baby calms a bit you can bring vol down to match. I was about to record myself shhing cuz I was so tired of shhing til I was winded, but then I found this. It REALLY works on newborns who are overtired/freaking out but nothing is actually wrong (dry, not hungry, etc.) I don't know if it works on older babies. THANKS!!

It is good but I would have been better tio mix it up with other sounds. The sush is monotonous.

I can't wait to try it on my grand daughter. She's beautiful but fussy at times.

The sounds instantly calmed my 4 month old. However, it seems you can't do anything else. Once I try to open another app, this app closes. The app also lacks other functions; only the one sound.

I'm sure this works for some babies. It just made mine start to wake up and move all around.

Anyone who doesn't 'get' this app, doesn't understand the power of shush! As previously said, I get a sore throat from shushing, but it's the thing my little one responds to best when unsettled at bedtime. Fab.

Great, esp. when used with ”the 5 S's technique”. This mimics the sound of amniotic fluid rushing past baby's ear and puts them right to sleep!

I wish I could have given it 0 stars or at least a ½ star! When my 10mo old woke up at 2a screaming crying I opened the app praying it would work. He stopped only to look at my phone with a WTH look, then cont'd screaming even louder and crying even harder! Deleting App! Keeping the Lullaby Relax & Baby Sleeper I also downloaded that night and that WORKED!!!!

Saved me from oxygen deprivation and passing out! Love it for my 4 month old. Realistic sound and everything.

Anyone who labels this app as stupid is very likely not a baby's caregiver (leaving one to wonder why they d/l'ed it.) Shhh'ing is white noise, which has been known to help babies sleep long before the term 'white noise' was coined. Some babies won't respond to exactly this sound, but most normal (and many sick) infants respond to white noise in some form. If this doesn't work for you, find one that does, rather than insult the person who saved many nerves! P.S. Run in background, please?

Great app, worked a treat on a unsettled 6 week old little girl. Work in background would be a great feature, but overall really simple and effective.

I was getting a sore throat and sore jaw from do much shushing. This app works better than I can do sometimes! Got baby to sleep the first time we used it!

Are you kidding me? It's a recording of someone repeating "shhhhh!". If I wanted to bore my child to death I would put her next to a bookshop.

Otherwise, great if it works for your child.
