আমরা যারা মধ্যবিত্ত সমাজকে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করি, জানি যে কত সংগ্রাম, কষ্ট করে আমাদের প্রতিদিনের জীবন যাপন করতে হয়। আমাদের এই মধ্যবিত্ত সমাজকে এত সহজ সুন্দর ভাবে বাংলা সাহিত্যের সংস্পর্শে যাদুকরী স্পর্শে সংম্রিসন ঘটিয়েছেন সাহিত্যিক হুমায়ুন আহমেদ। জীবন নিয়ে নতুন করে চিন্তা করার অনুপ্রেরনাও তার রচিত বিভিন্ন উপন্যাস থেকে বিকশিত হয়েছে। হিমুর মধ্যে আমরা অনেকেই আমাদেরকে খুজি, কেও আবার হিমু চরিত্রকে অন্ধ ভাবে অনুসরন করে থাকে। আমাদের সমাজের প্রতিটা স্তরে খোজা শুরু করলে অনেক বাস্তব হিমুর সন্ধান পাওয়া যাবে বলে আমি এখন বিশ্বাস করি। বর্তমান প্রেক্ষাপটে অত্যন্ত পরিতাপের সাথে বলতে হয় , যে আমাদের যুব সমাজ বই থেকে অনেক দূরে, অলীক মোহে চারিত্রিক অধঃপতনের স্বীকার হয়ে অন্ধকার জগতে বাসিন্দা হয়ে শুধু নিজেদের না , সমাজের জন্যও অকল্যান, অমঙ্গল করে যাচ্ছে। এদেরকে শুধরানোর জন্যে বই পড়া ছাড়া অন্য কোন বিকল্প নেই। বই এর জগতের সাথে নতুন করে পরিচিত করে দেয়ার জন্য আধুনিক প্রযুক্তি ও উতকর্ষতার উজ্জ্বল নিদর্শন মোবাইল ইবুক। হয়ত আমার প্রচেষ্টায় কারো উপকার হবে, কারো হবে না...কিন্তু তার জন্যে প্রচেষ্টা থামানোর কোন সু্যোগ নেই। আশা করি হিমালয়-হিমু কিছু অবশিষ্ট ইবুক টি আপনাদের ভালো লাগবে। Short writer paricitih
