Health Buddy

The Health Buddy by Edappz and created by Applzz will help those with chronic illnesses be more able to take an active roll in their everyday care.

If you have a chronic Illness or a medical condition that lasts more than a common cold than the Health Buddy is for you.

Using a very simple set of questions that are non invasive, you will reply on the app with a yes or no. The Health Buddy will calculate the answers and give you the totals in positive and negative as well as a short comment which is all to help you gain an edge in your health care.

When you open the app you click start and chose from the 8 modules. Even if your particular chronic illness is not one of the listed you will do well to consider “depression” or “anxiety” module.

Note the 'medicine' bottles at the top, when you respond with a negative answer, the bottle will turn a different color and the second 'wrong' answer and the bottle falls down. For each wrong answer after the second response another bottle will fall.

The Health Buddy can be considered an assistant in a very minor way but at no time is the results you get to be considered medical in nature. The pure intentions are to give you a simple and positive 'task' to perform and based on your own self evaluations, it will give you a goal in a sense that will reduce stress.

The Health Buddy may in some cases based on the answers to receive point you to calling your doctor or having a family member call the doctor for you. The Health Buddy is never meant to cause you any stress or upset and you only need to consider the advantages in being able to use the app for your benefits.

By using the Health Buddy you are taking an 'active' roll in you particular illness or medical condition. The easy to use app on your mobile device will let you play a game of sorts and when you use it several times, improving your own personal score will become a little occurrence you will want to take each day. The time to take a full set of questions will vary but will take no more than 3 minutes max to take.


Another positive is the Health Buddy can be used by a chronic ill patients family member or a friend. They can take an active roll and use the app in cases where the chronically ill person is unable to use the app themselves.

The 'other' person would only answer the questions which could be gotten from the 'sick' person or the questions can be answered by the questions the family member or friend goes through based on what they know. Regardless how the questions are answered the results will be a tiny experience designed to make the chronically ill person feel a little better about their life.

Show your family members as well as your friends and by all means you want to tell your medical doctor.

The Health Buddy can provide an entertainment much as the well known video games can, though the Health Buddy doe not have the bells and whistles that some of the video games have it can help put a little smile on your face and if it helps you reach your health goals that improve your existence and how you feel about yourself than the Health Buddy accomplished what it was set out to do.
