‘Recycle for MK’ helps residents of Milton Keynes to know what, when and how to recycle.
Do you ever forget to put your bins out? Or wonder what happens when it’s a bank holiday? Are you ever unsure whether you can recycle an item of rubbish? ‘Recycle for MK’ can help!

· What goes in my bins?- A comprehensive guide to what you can recycle and which of your bins to put it in.
· Collection reminders- You’ll receive a notification every week reminding you to put your bins out.
· Alternative collection days- You’ll receive a notification if your bin collection day has changed due to a bank holiday.

Would be fine, but it bizarrely doesn't handle bank holidays, which is about the only reason I installed the app.

The updates for Bank Holidays are rubbish... Excuse the pun! Then after the Bank Holiday it doesn't reset back to the correct normal day!

I get a message to put my bins out for collection - on Christmas Day! The actual date should be two days later. At time of writing (27/12/2014), the app says 'Your Next Bank Holiday Collection(s): Friday 29th August'. What's the point of that? If you're going to produce an app, then at least make sure it works, otherwise it is worse than useless.

Has loads of info available if you need it, otherwise the basic straightforward info is right at hand. Was impressed to get a pop up the day before bin day reminding me to put my recycling out.

Information out of date. Should be paired with council web page to show accurate and up to date information. It's a waste of space otherwise. If I wanted a glossy brochure of what the council does and operates, I would knock on their door and get one. The amount of confusion over Christmas and New Year caused by the wrong information in this app, upset many residents. Get your act together.
