Quit Cannabis for Android
Purchased full version like a fool. None of the notifications or motivational quotes have notified me at all. I have not received any acknowledgement of my emails to the creators or customer service, which ever it is about a refund. Highly disappointed. And yes the notifications are set correctly so have no reason to not go off at the set time I chose
Disappointed in the app. I thought I would be learning some cool facts about how my body was benefiting from my decision to quit smoking as time progressed but unfortunately that is all hidden in the paid version. Hard to justify paying for something that I could easily go on a browser and look up..for free..the ability to track the amount of money I saved was a cool feature. Although while reading through the other reviews the developer has shown they have an inability to grow from criticism and I believe the app will suffer from that going forward. So. Uninstalled.
Amazing. This app has taught me so many things I was unaware off to do with quitting cannabis, such as the dreams. I am now lucid dreaming and love it. I love the conscious twist and it has highly helped me with my Spirituality. Love it. Highly recommend this app thank you
Great app. The health tab keeps being a bit bugged though. It shows different health stats depending on if I just opened the app, or switch from stats and back to health. Such as blood pressure does not show on the 2nd one, but REM rebound does etc.. Hope this can be fixed.
preying on people who want to quit cannabis by only telling them stats on cigarettes and making us pay for stats on cannabis at an extortionate 5.99.. better free apps around. deleted
I have been smoking every day for the last 7 years (excluding one year i was in juvenile detnetnion) i gave it up 2 weeks ago so i can pursue my career goals. I hope this will help me stay focused. I turned 21 last month and had a huge reality check. It was time for me to grow up!! So hope this helps:)
Disabled all notifications & it still notified me every few hours of random things... U know what makes quitting weed hard? Being reminded of it constantly. The ads suck also
I use to smoke 2gs a day for about 2 years as I was suffering from depression and anxiety. I decided to quit and thought I'll try this app. It has really helped me. Having a counter of days and how much money I have saved has kept me from going back to smoking it. Onwards and upwards. Such a great little app. Thanks Dev.
So helpful! I've smoked several times daily for the past seven years and have never been successful in my attempts to quit. I just hit the 24 hour mark, a first for me, and I couldn't have done it without this app and the encouragement it gives me when I check it. It may not seem like much but for me it is a huge accomplishment. I look forward to the day I no longer crave that high. Thank you!!!
Excellent Help Aid! I have to laugh at the 1 star comments... This app is for those who CHOOSE to stop smoking yet that seems to offend some. I feel sorry for them. This app is but an aid and kudos to all those who have used it and succeeded-- or are working towards succeeding--with their goals.
Great motivational app with stats that updated daily but really poorly designed for what they charge for this app. Also they could do a better job for separating cig and weed smokers instead of combining those stats together as I don't smoke cigs but trying to quit weed
The app is great and i paid for the full version but the health page is inconsistent. It only ever shows half of the "health" percentage bars. Sometimes i get to see one half of the listed symptoms, and other times i get to see another separate list. Perhaps I'm just confused, in which case it must be far from intuitive...or I'm high. Just kidding 4 days sober. I think..
Awesome app that definitely helped me quit. Only downside is I payed for the app and there are never any updates. Some new articles every now and then wouldnt hurt..
Helps keep track of your progress with quitting. Not gonna lie gave me a lot more motivation to quit seeing my progress
Education is power... Considering this a powerless app.
Need to be able to completely separate tobacco. Quit that awhile ago, just annoying to have to see it.
If you smoke weed this app is only really worth it if you pay for it... Which i find misleading as its marketed towards those who are trying to stop smoking weed. But the free version only really deals with cigs. And if you read all the reviews like i did you can here the rather sassy and unprofessional response from the indivudual who made the app about" i put in effort time and money and you get to try out the features". The features your able to try out arent the ones im interested in and no matter the time and money spent the app just isnt worth the $8. There are way better designed apps that give you more info and services for free(but sadly mostly deal with cigs). Maybe try giving a limited time based trial of the full features so people can know what there spending their money on. But hey I guess some ppl enjoy and find the app usefull (but i have a feeling those ppl decided it was worth the $8)
This App is very helpful for someone trying to quit smoking Weed or Tobacco I highly recommend it, the only downside is you have to pay to get the full version but the Free version is pretty good as well
The app doesn't work I purchased the full version of the app and it still does not work. It keeps freezing and keeps telling me to purchase full version and I did. I am requesting a refund because it does not work at all. Maybe my phone isn't compatible with the app. getting
Kind of sneaky. You can download and fill out everything, but at no point does it tell you you have to pay. Then on top of free users have to watch retarded ads?
Just downloaded this didn't even know there was one for weed . Stopping from 28th know it's going to be hard but just by reading info on the app I already feel confident 5 star atm like it ????
Quitting tomorrow, so I ended up buying the app after reading reviews on it. App looks good so far. The journey to sobriety begins now.
I purchased the full version but it's very buggy and honestly felt like a rip off. The motivational quotes only showed up once. The 'articles' are hardly informative or just too short or vague; I've found much more useful tips online. I smoked a bunch of weed but never tobacco and I wish there was a way to disable that section of the app because it's visually distracting/clutter. Also, everytime I open it, it shows me the symptoms progress for tobacco (even though I've never filled out those sections) and I always have to select another section and go back to it for the cannabis symptoms to update. The sobriety time tracker and symptoms countdowns are useful but honestly a countdown widget could do the same and we all know the symptoms countdown is an approximation at best. I'd recommend to save your money rather than waste it on such a high priced 'full' version app that doesn't even work properly.
I never buy apps but this one I had to try as I have smoked weed for 12 years and enough was enough so I downloaded the app and just seeing the stats of time elapsed, grams avoided and money saved was good but it ads extra targets to reach from (REM) Rapid eye movement increasing daily to Improved memory. 1 month and 8 days on I will never go back as I have done more with this time than I have ever done in my last 12 years. Thanks mate, you possibly saved my life and I assume many others.
Wonderful app. I have searched the Play Store for a quit weed app for a long time, and only ever found apps promoting it :( Until now of course :) I'd only want one improvement but it's more personal.. I'd like to separate the tobacco altogether as I'm only giving up weed for now. Can't risk giving up both at once or I'll fail. This is great for me to keep track of progress like the giving up cigarettes apps. Glad someone finally created an app for such a life sucking addiction. I've been smoking resin and weed for 20 years and had enough!! THANK YOU!
Disabled all notifications & it still notified me every few hours of random things... U know what makes quitting weed hard? Being reminded of it constantly. The ads suck also
This app has helped me cut down on smoking, not yet quit all the way but smoking far far less than before. Just by keeping track of spendings and savings has been magical and this app is a big helper a and motivator. Love it.
This app seems like it is more interesting in making money than helping people overcome this tough time in their life and reach their goals. Ads and interruptions are frequent, and many features are locked away in the paid version. I don't think a paid version is a bad thing, however all the features it has should be in the free version and it should only exist so people can choose to support the creators. They choose to compromise your success in an attempt to squeeze a few bucks out of you.
I paid $8 for this app thinking it was helpful but I'm disappointed. There's no journal to write how your feeling or options to say if you messed up and you've smoked. I thought this app would be more efficient.
Hi guys well I'll start by saying this app is pretty smart and a nice way to check in on your progress. I did lots of searching for a quitting app for a bit of extra support and to find this, the only app on the store I was a tad nieve but have to say it's pretty good.
Lock the tobacco part and unlock the weed part and your good to go. It's confusing also how the developer(s). Judging by their responses to customer reviews. Seem more interested in arguing why they are right instead of listening to your customers. Feedback even negative can be helpful.
This is a free stop smoking cigarette app. If you want stats on quitting cannabis get ready to pay approx $8. Very disappointed as time was spent calculating and entering information about cannabis but all free stats were about cigarettes.
The app plays ads constantly and some of them are really loud. But overall its awesome. I upgraded my rating based on the fact that it tells me how many joints (blunts in my case) that ive avoided since quitting and the number is shocking. I still may buy the full versoin but its ok free and its the best app for quitting weed specifically
I wanted to help a friend stop and was pleased to find a app for that supposed purpose ..................................BUT as you turn it on its LOCKED TO TOBACCO. PRESS CANNABIS AND IT SAYS BUY THE PAID VERSION AND THEN THE PAID VERSION IS SIX POUNDS, YES I KNOW....THE SECOND PICTURE ABOVE IS A LIE AND "NOT IN THIS APP" ........VERY VERY OVER THE TOP PRICE FOR A "LIST"......NO BETTER THAN THE DRUG DEALERS ...."LIE TO THEM ABOUT IT, EVEN GIVE A BIT FREE AND THEN MAKE THEM PAY THROUGH THE NOSE!
I like the idea of the app, have the free version and am trying to purchase the full. But the play store is just telling me my payment method is invalid regardless of the card I try to use. Any help with this?
For paid users please add parameters for those that smoked with rolling tobacco instead of cigarettes. Would be great to also add nicotine level and how the dependancy will fade over time like other apps. Other than that this all is brilliant. Thanks devs:)
It's so irritating it keeps force closing, I actually needed this app but forget it I guess.
I hope that through using this app I will be able to quit cannabis after more than half my life wasted addicted to this weed! Thanks
Downloaded so I could see the health benefits just to find out it is going to cost me $10.00.. way too expensive.

This app definitely helped me quit!! I was smoking for 10 years, since I was 14, very heavily I may add. I definitely have to credit changing my surroundings for most of my success. I moved 4 months ago and haven't touched it since. If anyone reading this is struggling, I know you can do it, it is very hard for about 30 days but once you get past that mark it's smooth sailing. I feel the best I have ever felt. My mind is clear, and I function as normally as possible. Take care, you got this!
