Beware smartphone ballistic solvers!! Ran into a problem where changing the G1 to G7 drag models that did not update the BC. No response from AB on this issue. Noticed this error when validating an Accuracy1st analog whiz wheel, and solutions did not match. Changed the way i feel about trusting a smartphone. I will now put more confidence and use in the analog Accuracy1st solver.

Severely disappointed. Been a Shooter app user for 5+ years. Thought why not try AB. Ends up being the same app and wasted $30. And it hasn't been updated since 2015 while Shooter was updated Feb 2017! Wish I wouldn't have forgotten I downloaded it so I could've used the refund option. (my own fault). Don't buy this app when you can get shooter for $5.

Pros: Results comparable to the best like Strelok Pro and Exterior Ballistics to name a few. Cons: Achilles heel in low number of available reticles. Customer service was also slow to respond with no date for a basic 6 mil-dot reticle. Considering bang for the buck I should probably rate even lower, but can only give 3 stars on a value basis.

Every aspect of this is tuned exactly for its role. Ease of use, performance, reliability, offline use... It can make or break a day doing long range shooting and is the only software I trust in pair with printed ballistics tables and hand calculations.

This app is super handy. I don't think it's worth charging $30 but a very good tool none the less. Next update needs to add Vortex PST ebr-2c reticle's.

For some reason, I've lost the ability to zoom in on the reticle subtensions view and I've spent the last 6 days trying to convince them that this problem exists. Impressive amount of research and time went into the gathering of real world ballistic information, but if you lose the ability to transfer that into a usable form, it isn't worth much. **Update : was told, "you can't do that with this version"... No explanation. Again all the knowledge in the world is useless if you can't export it in a usable form.

Can't hook up my kestrel. Doc was very prompt in response to my email and spent time during the weekend trying to help me, so kudos to him. I have a 5300 kestrel, apparently the app will not work with this model. Wish I knew this before I purchased the app.

The only problem seems to be my phone. Samsung Galaxy S5, on the "Get Look Angle" function, I must restart the phone to make the look angle work. Everything else seems perfect.

Extremely disappointed for the price. Poor selection of reticles, clumsy interface. The long press menu is broken. The results might be valid, but the user experience is awful.

They could add other Bluetooth weather meters like WeatherFlow Precision, which would be more affordable to the shooter. Update reticles would also be nice. Program works as others do for less. Customer Service is great.

Works fairly fine for the basic functions but as you try to calibrate the result and tweak some values it either gets overly complicated or doesn't deliver ...

Several times when trying to get a shooting solution it gets a pop up stating there was an error. Not very pleased at all with how often it happens. Dope for elevation is over 12" off at 600yrds. Maybe it's my phone but I have reported the errors several times and nothing had changed. Really wish I could get my money back because this app is useless on my galaxy s7 and on an s6.

Buying the custom drag models for your bullet is well worth the money. Predictive velocity bands are spot on provided you enter good atmospherics.

Slow to update bullet library. Hornady ELD-X and ELD-M bullets have been on the market for almost a year and the are still absent for .264/6.5 disappointing.

Can you please add the Vortex Viper EBR 2 reticle? Otherwise it's a great app.

Everything work fine in the app except in the bullet Library where I picked a certain bullet and the bullet length didn't populate not a problem I can input it in myself. But for the price everything should work

Can't access my online profiles after reinstalling. Have tried resetting password and keep getting an "invalid key" message. Was going to contact AB via their website until I saw the contact form.

I paid $30 for this app and it never gets updated I can't even use my Kestrel 5700 Elite I have Nightforce MIL-R and it's not even in this app what a waste of money update this app or completely take it out of the App Store

Im a member of core shooting solutions and have access to a 1000 yard steel target range. That being said, i tend to use the ab app more than my 5700 elite kestral. (For the people who dont know about kestrals, that is one hell of a compliment) im told, same software runs both, but the cellphone app is much more user friendly and faster to use. Another greatttttttt feature (and the only ballistics app to do so) this app has the ability to Bluetooth atmospheric data directly to the cellphone app from my kestral. Gives me the ability to generate a faster and more accurate firing solution. It is by far the most expensive app I've ever bought, but in hindsight it was worth every penny. To touch on other people's issue with not being able to connect there android phone to the kestral with the bluetooth link. I also had this problem and was told to just keep trying to connect the two and it did work. This problem is only with androids from what I hear. A retarded Glich but they'll update the bug out of it someday. FREAKIN LOVE IT. P.s. Mr Litz, please add the burris f class reticle in moa and 6.5 creemoor Hornady eld 130 gr / 140 gr bullets. If you do I'll give your app 6 stars.

Needs to include winchester ammo the winchester varmint x line

I have a scope with 0.5 cm clicks @ 100 meters... but the app only gives output of every 2nd click... hate it... hate it... hate it..

I first used this App with my new 338. After finding a load and only shooting it out to 300yds, I took it out to 1760 yards....cold bore shot was perfect elevation and one moa right on a 1 moa target....made a third round hit at a mile for the first time. Great tool for the serious long range shooter.

Initial impressions are good. Pretty intuitive design and good options for imperial vs metric, MOA vs Mil etc. It would be great to see some Bushnell Tactical reticles included. Also is the new MIL-R NF reticle coming soon? Thanks!

This isn't your average app, it's a serious tool for long range precision shooting. Accurate data in will yield incredible results. Integration with GPS and built in sensors is extremely well done. A must for serious shooters.

The ballistic calibration doesn't work. It's just loads, infinitely.

Emailed about missing spin drift option. Response within 30 minutes received at 10:00pm. Problem was with me not entering a bullet length. Very impressed with the customer service!

1st use: 300 winmag with 208gr A-Max in a 20 mph cross wind at 940 yards hit target 1'' off using the custom drag curve. Easy to use and understand. Integration with Kestrel is really useful and saves time inputing data for quick shots. Could do with more choice between imp and metric units for each imput and multiple wind zones and vertical wind values would be a bonus. I think these may be already used in the military version?Any chance of adding to the recreational version?

Excellent ballistics app.. the best by far.. please update and tidy up your bullet library. And add twist rate BCS.. CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TIDY UP THE BULLET LIBRARY. THERE'S NO MANY DOUBLE UPS AND THINGS MISSING SUCH AS 6.5 129 LRABs... thankyou

Really needs an update for the reticle, this is the one of the reasons I went with ab over another app, and it doesn't include the reticle I use the most.

App works great if you do your homework. No longer picks up current weather conditions. Have emailed and ask but no solid answer yet. $30 should work. Use to work everywhere now nowhere with data. Funny all other apps pick up location and weather.

Needs the Vortex EBR-2C reticle, or some way to allow users to build their own and specify subtensions.

Everything is great but please put in the vortex viper pst 1-4 (MRAD) & (MOA)

Made my range time more productive.
