Apple Music

I have to admit that the app is really good and Apple Music in general has a big selection. I will miss the Kanye exclusives from Tidal, but even tho Apple Music is on Android it STILL works way better and has way less bugs than Tidal. Layout is much easier too. Sometimes the album art won't show in the notification or on my Smartwatch (LG Style). Every once in awhile the remote in the notification panel won't go away after I close the app. Those are the only complaints I have. Nice job making this app work great on Android, Apple

The download function does NOT work properly. I have to try many times until the song is downloaded. A lot of times, music that I have downloaded won't play, or will take forever to buffer. Sometimes songs will end prematurely, or even skip to another song while I'm right in the middle of one. On Spotify EVERYTHING works perfectly. Please fix the bug that make songs ending prematurely and make the download function work well. If this bugs were fixed Apple Music would be great!

It's alright if it'd work. I downloaded it in the hopes of listening to my favorite music and podcasts but instead it's not working. It let me register but now it keeps freezing or when it actually goes to a page to browse it keeps asking me to re-enter my password every time I turn around. Please fix it and will give a better rating when it works again

Sound and design is very good but songs often end a few seconds before they're finished, I watched the seconds countdown and it jumps about on the last few seconds! Playing music is this apps only job! It does not stay on in the background, so I have to go into the app to play music when using my car stereo via Bluetooth. Doesn't seem like Apple have designed this app very well, plus they don't seem to update it. Why would I pay for this!?

Love the library. Songs however never buffer. I cant download anything. Was hoping id love it but looks like ill switch back to Spotify... maybe before my 3 free months is up.. who knows. Not fluid at all. Like they purposely dont like us because we are andriods and not ios

I like Apple and apple music but this app actually kinda sucks. If you're listening to a song and skip ahead to the next one, it's going to start at the exact time you skipped...meaning if you're 2 minutes into a song and skip forward to the next song, it's going to start that next song at 2 minutes instead of the beginning. Also it doesn't always play properly and you have to reset the app sometimes

I love this app.... however, sometimes I can't have all the songs in an album. Also, listening offline, my music I've downloaded.... it will sit there and search for at least 30 seconds some times. I would understand and not complain if I wass'nt paying for the service, because the app is free. But I'm paying, so make the app better all around. I know it's not run by idiots, afterall, you all created and maintain an app.... I can't do that. You are smart people... keep up with it.

Please fix the bug that make songs ending prematurely! 3 things to do to make this app the bomb... 1) Make the album artwork bigger. 2) A personalized radio station and personalized daily playlists. 3) A home screen that has the newest editorial content along with personalized playlist and radio suggestions instead of hopping around different sections. Keep up the good work!

I like apple music. I really do. It's got some stuff that spotify just doesn't. Jay Z, and classic non-remastered Megadeth and Sabbath, to name a few. But the Android app just doesn't do it for me. I know it's meant for iOS, but if it's going to be on the play store, at least make it useable. A lot of times, music that I have downloaded won't play, or will take forever to buffer. It will sometimes tell me I don't have access to certain songs that I know for a fact I should have access to. Sometimes songs will end prematurely, or even skip to another song while I'm right in the middle of one. Spotify just doesn't have these problems, and it's much easier to use. I like apple music's content more, but the Android app needs some work. I'll be happy to give apple music my business when the app works, or when I get an iPhone.

The buggiest app I have ever used. Love Apple music but not on Android. The music decides to play whenever it wants. Even when the app isn't opened? Nothing wants to download. Freezes up at least 2 times a day. And one of the biggest tech companies in the world can't even fix a few small bugs. It's been well over a month and there has been no updates. My faith in there competence to fix it anyway is as low as the Mariana Trench.

Unable to listen to some downloaded songs when offline, even after updating the app in which the apple fixed this bug, But I still continue to experience it. But if you are an apple music subscriber and switched to android, then I think apple has done a great job by creating this app. I want apple to add a new feature for android users, in which we can set tracks from apple music as our ringtones and alarm tones. This feature will be great. Also, sometimes when listening to the downloaded music (doesn't matter if your mobile data is active or not), it stops itself and then you have to press the play button again.

This app loves to suck battery. It's an overall great app and I use it all the time. There are glitches though: the app won't start sometimes in widget mode, it uses a lot of battery, and sometimes pauses music when just turning off my phone. Other than that it's a great app. Just make sure you have a charger handy as it drains battery possibly 3x more than streaming music on Spotify.

I do prefer Apple Music over Spotify.. I do like Spotify's black theme.. wish Apple music had that, or at least a night mode. It's also very buggy, biggest issue I have with this version on the GS8+ is that you have to tap 3 times to save a song.. and sometimes it still doesn't work. Maybe after the bugs are patched it would be much better. Once Apple fixes it, I'd have no problem editing this review for a full five stars.

This works ok for the most part, but it needs to be more like the Apple iPhone app where you can easily jump to a song by pressing the letter of the alphabet that the song starts with. The app is having issues with loading songs even when I'm in a great signal area. There is an issue when sharing a song on social media because it won't always show the correct song.

Firstly, this is a good app. It's quick and easy to use with a wide selection of music. That said, I do have a few complaints. When streaming the app stops playing after 2 songs,My recently played and heavy rotation sections do not update and downloads are taking longer than they used to on the previous versions. Overall it is a great app and I would- and have- recommend it. Fix the minor issues that we all are experiencing.

Not so fabulous an update this time.... Keeps just hanging and I'm having to restart the ap more than once, blank frozen screen is back and is taking forever to load a song, It was as good as my iPad... What happened again..

Great app! Have more library than Spotify, at least for kpop for me. But some complain & suggestions: 1. "For you" feature not working for me, I don't know why, it just show a blank freeze screen. 2. Please add synchronised lyrics for each song. It will be better than static lyric. 3. Please add operator payment for Indonesia like for Spotify. Beside those 3 this app is great. UX & UE are great.

As typical with apple software on non-apple hardware: this one is riddled with bugs. It constantly loses connection, it constantly freezes and won't play music, it will just start playing random stuff, does not remember what you were listening to or your spot in long shows. The search is terrible. The sound quality is sub-par. Its not Chromecast compatible. Complaint complaint complaint

Downloaded as i have a free 6 month subscription with ee. It wont accept my free offer from ee so i have signed up for the 3 month free trial offered by apple. Have tried to use the app for about 10 mins and everytime i click anything i have to enter my password again and nothing plays or downloads. Will be immediately cancelling my subscription and uninstalling the app. Back to spotify i go!

Dear developers, please consider following case. I'm listening to album which has not been released yet, but few songs ate available. Other songs are inactive as album is not released yet. But when I tap on inactive song, I've hit incorrect message that song is no longer available in my country which is not true. Assume that error message for unreleased songs should be more informative. Thanks!

Moved from Apple to Android and it's a great app. After the recent update to version 2.0 I love the new UI and it is so much easier to find things. My one gripe that I hope they can address is caching the album covers. Especially in places like playlists. The albums are blank for a few seconds. On iPhone this isn't the case. Please consider looking into that. Not enough frequent updates for this app .... This app isn't stable enough to release updates every couple of months .... Push out bug fixes consistently and your ratings for this will be better.

Finding this all absolutely terrible compared to the competition. It's cluttered, no voice control, and I'm finding it's giving up after playing one song on Bluetooth which means it has to be set going again. Not good for driving commute! Will keep for the free trial but play music is better imo

Not sure if all these negative reviews are real. Coming from an iPhone 7 plus currently using a Galaxy S8 plus. So far this app has been really stable. I have yet encountered any major bugs. There is a small bug when playing music over Bluetooth in my car. For some reason the track timer shows zero every once in a while. Other than that all is well.

Since 2.0 apple music got a fresh simpler design, a lot of uncomfortablities got removed and new features like lyrics are now included. I hated the old clunky UI. Unfortunately Apple stopped at that point. The last update was released two months ago and by now there are still plenty of bugs or just laggy things.

Absolute rubbish. I downloaded this with the intention of setting up a family subscription, but upon signing up to the free trial it became apparent that in order to invite family members to join the account, you have to be using an Apple device. Bit short sighted of Apple, cancelled the free trial, that won't be getting any of my cash, I'm not paying hundreds of pounds for an apple device to just manage so can listen to music......

There is a critical bug that I believe happens when you add the song to library and then press download and immediately start the song that makes it say that the song is not available anymore. The only fix I found was to uninstall and reinstall it. Sadly that makes you have to download everything all over again. Hope they fix it.

Literally the worst app I've ever used. Been paying for this service for over a year now and was great when I using an iPhone. But this app is downright slow and crashes often. Having a real problem when playing songs and the music cuts out but the track is still playing. Really disrupts the experience.

frequently crashes after manually changing songs. a large number of songs and albums are completely unusable after adding them to my library. the app freezes and/or crashes if they are selected or come up while shuffling. unreliable and frustrating. hope they fix it, but it's not looking that way. the latest update only made the app worse

It's bad. Long time deezer user switched to Apple music for the free ee 6 month trial (which didn't work so using the 3 month trial instead). Find that I get error messages daily that the search function doesn't work (no network error). When it does work find that the playlist function is very minimal. Doesn't link with Shazam. Missing artists. Would switch back to deezer if it was cheaper.

I had this app for around 8 months with no issue. Suddenly none of my downloaded music would play without good wifi connection, so i had to uninstall and reinstall the app. Unfortunately this caused me to lose all of my downloaded music and made me waste a lot of time.

I'm giving 3 star for this new update for the moment. I hope this new update fix the major bug that I always encounter, that is the song suddenly skip to another song after it when the current song is not finish yet. It's really weird and annoying. I have to back or select back the song to listen it fully. This happen when I play a playlist.

The app crashed the first time I opened it. Had to sign in 3 times before it worked. Spend way too much time looking at loading screens. Why does it force you to have to pick artists before you can start using the app. The app looks and feels like it was built by someone who's never built an app before. Google Play is miles ahead.

This app was always buggy on Android but it's gotten so much worse in the last few months. It won't let me listen to a song unless it's downloaded. If the song isn't downloaded it either skips the song or completely freezes the app. This finally gave me the push to switch to Melon, but i have too much music on Apple to switch over completely. Please fix this glitch!!

There are so many bugs on this one, ones that weren't always there have now begun to show up for me. Like for example when I'm listening to a song, the song keeps playing but there's no sound so there's always about 10 or 15 seconds of a song that I don't hear! And now half of my offline songs don't even play, I'm really considering cancelling my package and I'll be warning people about this app and it's bugs! Seriously Apple you couldn't come up with better? Can't even create a playlist six-hour the app crashing.

Lots of content but it won't allow me to purchase anything. I've created an Apple ID. The app will allow me to browse the album I want to purchase then I'll hit the plus button to add to cart and nothing happens. I downloaded this to buy music I can't get on other apps. This app is useless to me if I can't buy mp3 albums and download them.

Before updates I loved this app. Then the playback options changed and took away so much functionality. Why can't i look at my song history? What happened to the play next button or add to up next? Even just the design looks like a downgrade and a step backwards in development.

Having switched from iOS and subsequently using Apple Music, I was hoping for a similar great experience. Nothing could be further from the truth. The app frequently crashes when listening to any playlist and every time I add a new song to my library and go to download it, I find myself having to re download my entire library again. The app layout is terrible and so slow. Hopefully future updates will change these major problems but until then, back to Spotify it is.

I am tired of this app! Ever since Beats was sold to Apple I have had nothing but problems. My phone freezes. The Google app microphone keeps coming on. Its stops even on a good wifi or a good heavy signal. I had Beats for almost two years before I was forced to switch and I really liked Beats and didn't mind my paid subscription. Now I hate this app and I am paying for foolishness ! I have a Samsung Note 5. Ugh 08/02/17 Every time my favorites list tires to load I get the previous favorites play list from 2 months ago. Very frustrating

From someone who used this on an iPhone, the Android version is quite terrible. Sometimes I think maybe it's slow connection that causes downloading to stop but no. It's just very buggy. Freezes randomly. Says songs are downloaded but won't play them. Goodness. Downloading one album sometimes takes a few tries. A mess. I only have it cuz Google Play doesn't have a few albums I want. I'm practically giving them my money for nothing.

While I love the music selection and curated playlists of Apple Music the app for Android needs work. The play next queue disappears at random intervals making all the music that you've qued up already disappear. The option to add music to the queue also appears and disappears with no logical reason. Also the iCloud music upload and download is never explained and is confusing.
