This app does not work. I entered my first reciept and the submit button would not work. After 10 minute of thinking I did something wrong and a couple more minutes re-entering everything, I deleted the app. Save your self the hassle.

I was all excited about this app, but when I chose to use it without a tax professional... it does nothing. I am a NATP member and wanted to promote this to my tax clients, sorry won't be doing that until it works.

Won't let me look up professionals in my area...useless!!! 1/8/14- OK trying this app again (actually this is my fourth time on here). And I can't look up professional in any areas. I don't know if it's the all or my phone. In using a Samsung Galaxy 2. I don't think my phone is that old. I wish could give more feedback but I haven't gotten past this initial step. I'm ready to delete this! Update 2/20/14 i can finally look up a professional in my area.. I will now use it and hopefully get to change score.

I was really looking forward to telling clients about this app. The concept is great but the execution gets messed up. If you make a mistake when entering a transaction there's little to no way to correct it. Gotta delete and start over. If you try the back button it just cycles around to different sceens out of context and sometimes locks up. Still no GPS for Android. Overall great idea but still has a lot bugs!

Trying this app again. Took several tries to start (unable to connect to server), then displays featured professionals all over the US and more professionals (in alphabetical order?) -- not very intelligent, since the app has permission to know my location. Screen stayed "washed out" as if disabled for some time; finally became usable. Search function also doesn't use my location as the default. Back button continues to malfunction on tablet. Very slow and unresponsive at times. Entering data (it's main purpose) is cumbersome. Still would not recommend to clients.

I've been an NATP member for years. I talked it up in my preseason client mailing before realizing I can't use this app because I have no smart phone. I tried to get it to work on a nexus and an iPad with no success. I guess I have some explaining to do.

I'm quite disappointed in this product. I had expected a simple mobile app to allow secure (and two way) document transfers. The only potential advantage I see may be in using gps technology to simplify mileage records. The overwhelming impression is that this is a "find a tax pro" app that does not disclose the fact that only beta testing (and paid) professionals are listed, and then with an undefined "featured" group. I'll hang on and watch for a year and re-evaluate.

When I first heard about Tax Pocket, I was excited. It sounded like something that I wanted and had been looking for. In addition, there was an opportunity, as a tax professional, to make it available to my clients. Alas, the product does not deliver. I found it hard to navigate, it would frequently shut down in the midst of an activity, and was not something I would recommend to my clients.

I was expecting an app that was going to save my clients time. But I'm finding that it doesn't do things that other apps do do better. Like using the GPS to figure out the mileage that the client is using. Also need the ability to save the place that the client is going to because some maybe they'll go with more than once. I have a motorola droid and I haven't been able to save anything either. Needs a lot of work before I'll recommend.

In hindsight I should have checked out the app before signing up as a featured tax professional. The app is buggy and slow as others have pointed out. I've not been able to get the app to accept a full set of information through the expense tracker and mileage tracker functions. I was also under the impression that the app would use a smart phone's GPS feature for the mileage tracker rather than requiring physical data entry.
