Kryptos for Android
For anything to work after downloading, they demand and subscription and payment.
Font size to input data is ridiculously small for a 5.1 in android screen.
Been using on my Samsung S5 and Note 8 for over 30 days. Great sound and secure. Feels like I am a secret agent, knowing my privacy is secure... Worked everywhere I've tried it. Home wifi, work wifi, Caribou Coffee and across both my cellular carriers (Verizon & AT&T). Signed up for their GOLD level and happy to be aboard.
I love you
They try to charge you after signing up. App is being deleted
Doesn't tell you it costs $10/month
I can't really see any reason to use this over Redphone unless you need interoperability with iPhone users or need calling outside of the countries that Redphone supports. Kryptos drains battery because it needs to keep a network connection open. Redphone doesn't because it uses SMS for signaling. Kryptos is $10/month. Redphone is free. Redphone also wins on transparency. We know very little about the Kryptos protocol or codec (AES, RSA - that's it.) Redphone is open source and uses ZRTP which is an open standard. We know, for instance, exactly how Redphone mitigates man in the middle attacks. Csipsimple is another alternative for free encrypted calls using the ZRTP standard. It inter operates with other ZRTP clients like acrobits on the iPhone and Jitsi on desktop computers. Put that together with a free SIP (e.g. Callcentric) account, and you can have cross platform encrypted phone calls for free instead of paying $10/mo.
Works on galaxy note... 10$ monthly subscription monthly though, make sure you use google checkout or paypal, not their own site, my cc 'suddenly' got used by someone else...
Trying to fill the gap from whispersystems sellout. $10. A month? No way. How about $10.00 app?
This app works well most of the time but not always. For $10 a month I would expect it to be flawless. I am now using "voip one click" for free encrypted calls and encrypted chat, works well and I have had no problems with it.
Get redphone its better.sorry Mr developer but you charge to much.its a nice application though
Not free costs $10/mo to make and receive calls only thing free about it is the interface and registering which has no point if u don't pay the $10/mo
Kryptos is a great app! Doesnt use up my minutes and I can talk to my parents overseas without charges. Good call quality. Easy to use. Kudos Kryptos
Could not get it to work on my droid. You have to know the other party's secret id. Does not integrate with phone contact list. Other apps are free.
I have been using this app now for a week on 4G and 3G and WIFI on my HTC EVO, and have called a few friends around the world that I usually chat with via e-mail most of the time. I have even purchased accounts for them so we have been chatting now all weekend … I highly recommend this app for international calls and local long dist…
You guys did not understand how droid world works
Will Skype work with this softwar?
This program is not god I buy thinking is god but not dont buy you gont to lose your money
Costs10per month.didnt see it, too expensive
110% the real deal!!! Being in the intelligence community, I assure you it is as advertised and well worth $10 a month
Kryptos works great, easy access to phone support and email. P/W recovery via email. Quality product no matter what guys from redphone want to post.
If you forget your password there is NO way to retrieve it! U cant create a new account and the developers wont reply to your emails!
Good idea but redphone still beats it for usability, transparency, and quality.
Cool app
