Appetite

This is an excellent app! Such a time saver. So convenient to order and pick up from either home or on my way home from work. Its also saves me time (and less frustration) of calling in to a restaurant and trying to explain orders over the phone. My only criticisms is that it would be nice if the app was updated promptly once a restaurant has moved/closed. (A few resturants have moved out of the area/location listed yet it still comes up on my list). And restaurants that are no longer a part of Appetite should be removed. I once ordered platters for a party from Kauai in Rosebank, but the order didn't go through because they were no longer a part of appetite. HOWEVER, I did receive very prompt service from Appetite who called me within minutes to notify me that the order didn't go through. Besides that, its a great app!

The app doesn't want to even open.

App used to work but now it keeps closing the minute I try to open it.

I select my order, then I am prompted to add adress. I capture address info and the nothing happens, it doesn't get saved. So I can't proceed with my order ????

Really cool app been using it for a while only downer is restaurants specials aren't always added and you land feeling you got a bad deal sometimes when for example you could have got a 2L Coke for R5 or something.

Don't waste your time on this app, if you filter restaurants by delivery it brings up mostly restaurants that don't actually deliver to your location. Kind of defeats the point doesn't it?

Best app evet

Can't log into app. Tells me to verify email that does not exists in my mailbox. Also gives notice that connection is bad when i'm on wifi 10mb/s connection. Fix your app. Too many problems.

I love the app, but the restaurants in my area are different between Andriod and a friends iPhone.

Like the idea of the app, but do not appreciate restaurants inflating their menu prices when ordering through the app. It basically defeats the idea of the app because I may as well just phone my order through and pay the normal menu price, instead of using the app and paying higher prices.

Wow! This app is so much cheaper and more efficient than Uber eats and Mr delivery. Can't believe I didn't use it sooner. Love this app!

It's the best food delivery app in Johannesburg and I am very much happy with their services. It's almost 6 months I am using this app and not a single issue I faced. Keep it up guys...

I genuinely gave this app a go, but you can easily call the restaurant directly and get the same service, which, realistically speaking, is not a good thing. Not worth the space on my phone or the trouble, I basically had the same troubles with or without the app. A for effort though.

Would love to use it, foiled by bugs I would really like to use Appetite; It's the only food delivery app that has decent restaurants in my area. But this app is so buggy it's unusable. First, I registered and it never sent me the activation email (no option to resend). Second, months later and with a different email address, I successfully registered. But when I tried to place an order, it hung with an ever-spinning pizza wheel. Then when I tried to add an address, again, pizzas spinning until eternity. I'm afraid I've given up now. I'm writing this review at the takeaway place I drove to order from myself. I won't be giving you another chance, Appetite.

I see Appetite is making in roads into solving the "specials" that sometimes go missing. Though I do feel there is a lack of communication between them and the restaurant. So I am still wary.

It's a great app that has saved me from searching for menus and hoping the restaurant answers the phone. I hope you guys manage to get more restaurants onboard soon.

Placed an order with this app but restaurant takes forever to deliver and forever to call back. Very useless for placing orders with restaurants ..

RE: Hangs on entering address Have not retested but the I received a quick follow up from developers who added my address manually.

This app is the best. We use it all the time! Makes ordering so seamlessly easy! (BONUS is food items also seem to be a lot cheaper than ordering on other new U***Eats app

The app crashed before the order could even be taken, what a waste of time. Call centre was even worse.

Doesn't track your location

The restaurant i tried too order from is Angelo's in Bryanstan. I was in Sunninghill.

Makes life easy, just love it.
