Live London Transport Tracker is an Android app that makes use of Transport for London's data API stream. This stream provides real time arrivals countdown information for buses, tubes, trams, river boats and even cable cars! What's Changed
Disruption alerts - notifications are now sent for any favourites bus or tube routes that are disrupted. You can switch this feature off by clicking the 'dots' button next to the favourite.
Nearby stops - the list of stops in the Nearby stops view is now sorted on distance. We've also restricted the number of stops visible to make it easier to find your stop!

A major update has had a shaky start. Lots of problems but handled pretty quickly. The person responsible for answering comments must have had worked extra hours. In the end it's the same functionality in a new suit. Sure, it does crash when exiting, but that happens after you're done using the app.

I found this app a few weeks ago and it is very reliable and gives a lot of information. I had an other app before this I was not happy with that.

Nice variety of statuses. However, can you arrange for auto-refresh within the list for specific departures. For example, N86 at Chatteris Avenue, when I choose the departure at 0240 and look at the list of stops, these used to automatically refresh as the bus progressed. Now I have to move the screen to achieve this. Four stars only as it stands now.

Tells you when the bus is coming, what more does it need?

I'll give it 3 stars. I would give it 4 but I think the app company need to take interest in seeing some very important suggestions. -It should give more information on average transfer times between stations and lines. -Overground lines timetables show up but when a route is shown which involves an overground train like the C2C it should show on the route summary the time that train will arrive at the point of journey planning. -You can only add work and home to the journey planning list as favourites, the rest have to be done manually. -It's not easy finding some stations for example kings cross, it has an underground and rail. I had to search the full name on Google and then type it in the app and make it a favourite. -You should be able to favourite not just the station but the direction...overground for example I might be trying to go one way only. Some of these suggestions can be very helpful when developed. It's a very good app because it's no nonsense and quite straightforward. I like the interfaces of other apps slightly more but overall I think this one is good. The layout and options need to be improved. When the improvements are made then perhaps a 5 star rating is worth giving.
