"Does what it says on the tin" Came from Soldier Systems. This app is good, but I really want the whole TACNAV package for my ANDROID phone and tablet.

Good, reliable compass. Could do without the long startup splash screen. Coordinate output works only when GPS is enabled; no indication when GPS is not enabled. Still waiting for the whole Tactical Navigation suite for Android. Any indication when that will be available?

With my Toshiba Thrive, the compass is off 90 degrees. Efforts to calibrate and to correct this discrepancy were unsuccessful.

Don't waste your money on the compass nav. Good luck trying to unlock needle. And if you think you'll get any help or any questions answered, well that's not going to happen either. They just ignore you. Stay away from this app. It's not worth the frustration.
