দুআ-মুনাজাত : কখন ও কিভাবে

সৃষ্টিকর্তা প্রতিপালক আল্লাহর সঙ্গে মানুষের সম্পর্ক কিভাবে স্থাপিত হতে পারে? মহান আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামীন মানুষের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ রক্ষা করতে কোনো রকম মুখাপেক্ষী নন। তিনি সকল সৃষ্টিজীব থেকে অমুখাপেক্ষী। সকল বিষয়ে সর্বশক্তিমান। তিনি মহা শক্তির অধিকারী, তাঁর ওপর কেউ বিজয়ী হতে পারে না। আকাশমণ্ডল ও তাবৎ জগতের প্রতিটি বিষয় তাঁর আয়ত্বাধীন। তাই মানুষ তাঁর সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ রাখতে, তাঁর কাছে নিজের প্রয়োজন প্রার্থনা করতে, বিপদ থেকে উদ্ধার পেতে সর্বদা তাঁর কাছেই মুখাপেক্ষী। তিনি কারীম-মহান। তাঁর কাছে প্রার্থনা করলে তিনি খুশি হন। তিনি ভালবাগেণ মানুষ তাঁর কাছে তাদের প্রয়োজনীয় সবকিছু চেয়ে নেবে। তিনি তাদের প্রার্থনা কবুল করেন।
দুআ কাকে বলে? কিভাবে করতে হয়? কখন করা উচিত? দুআ কবুলের অন্তরায় কী? ইত্যাদি বিষয়গুলো কুরআন ও বিশুদ্ধ সুন্নাহর আলোকে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে এ পুস্তকে।
এক. দুআউল ইবাদাহ বা উপাগণামূলক দুআ। সকল প্রকার ইবাদতকে এ অর্থে দুআ বলা হয়।
দুই. দুআউল মাছআলা অর্থাৎ প্রার্থনাকারী নিজের জন্য যা কল্যাণকর তা চাবে এবং যা ক্ষতিকর তা থেকে মুক্তি প্রার্থনা করবে। (বাদায়ে আল-ফাওয়ায়েদ : ইবনুল কায়্যিম)
যেমন কেউ সালাত আদায় করল। এ সালাতের মধ্যে অনেক প্রার্থনামূলক বাক্য ছিল। এগুলোই দুআউল ইবাদাহ বা উপাগণামূলক প্রার্থনা। আবার সে পরীক্ষা দেবে। আল্লাহর কাছে প্রার্থনা করল হে আল্লাহ! তুমি আমার পরীক্ষা সহজ করে দাও এবং কৃতকার্য করে দাও! এটা হল দুআ আল-মাছআলা বা চাওয়া। How the human relationship with God the Creator, the Lord may be established?
