The Whalebone Inn offers a home from home atmosphere with good food and drink. It can also boast being a traditional pub, with emphasis on providing good wholesome family bar food, and a more sophisticated and varied menu in its attached restaurant Scrimshaws.

The Whalebone Inn hosts darts teams, a cribbage team and also has a pool table. It is also proud to be the sponsor for three of the village’s football teams. There are a number of widescreen TVs circulated around the rooms for all sporting events.

Scrimshaws restaurant is attached and offers an à la carte menu and can accommodate everyone, from couples who want to enjoy an intimate dinner, to larger groups and families. They also offer a kiddies menu catering for the fussy eaters to the more adventurous.

The Whalebone Inn has a safe garden area for the children to play and their own bouncy castle for fine weather days.

With ample car parking and a sheltered smoking area, we hope we have provided our guests with everything they need for a great visit to an English Pub.
