San Antonio Restaurant Ass

As a local chapter of the Texas Restaurant Association, the San Antonio Restaurant Association (SARA) strives to promote growth of the restaurant industry by providing educational programs, public awareness campaigns, and grass-roots government affairs initiatives. Our association is just over 900 members strong, making it one of the larger trade associations in San Antonio.

With the support of the Texas Restaurant Association (TRA), SARA continues to fight the battle in the trenches for the foodservice industry and has been instrumental in establishing excellent working relationship and accomplishing interactive networking with:

• The Alcoholic Beverage Commission
• The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District
• San Antonio Water System
• City Public Services Energy
• Code Compliance Office
• City Zoning Department
• City Council Offices

Education
At the SARA, we care about the future of our industry. We are involved with some of our local high schools through the Texas ProStart program. Our organization provides scholarships and hosts everything from fundraisers to student tastes to benefit these students.
