The São Martinho Group is one of the largest producers of sugar, ethanol and bioenergy in Brazil with a total crushing capacity of 16.3 million tons in the end of 2013/2014 harvest.

Following a restructuring of the company’s management in 2007, the São Martinho Group’s stock began to be traded on the Novo Mercado Special Corporate Governance Segment of the São Paulo Stock Exchange (BM&FBovespa) under the ticker SMTO3.
