Route Hair Studio

Cherie has been in the hair industry for 20 years, starting at Carlton Hair in Riverside, then transferring to Montclair when it opened. She owned two salons. The first, Savoie Complete Hair Solutions, was located in Pomona, where Cherie hosted art openings and hair shows as part of the Art Colony. After five years, Cherie decided to move to Claremont to open Hair Stream, which she kept for a year-and-a-half before deciding to take a year off from owning.

Cherie’s new adventure, Route, shows “three times a charm.” Cherie specializes in hair color and uses Schwarzkopf for traditional coloring and Pravana Chromasilk Vivids for painting rainbows in hair. She attends the Sassoon Academy every year, working with Mark Hayes and the Santa Monica team. She is Eco friendly and recycles all of her packaging and uses environmental conscious hair care products as well.

On her days off, Cherie enjoys doing photo shoots, participating in living history events, and baking vintage inspired cakes.
