The school opened in September, 2013 and is a 10-12 school with a capacity of 1500. During our first year, however, we registered over 800 grades 10 to 11 students. Our high school accommodates students from Citadel, Arbour Lake, Scenic Acres, Ranchlands, Hawkwood, Rocky Ridge, and Royal Oak.
We opened CBE's newest high school and incorporated these elements of current action research: mastery, rigor, relevance, personalization, flexibility, relationships, community involvement. Rather than being experimental, the key elements also reflect our Robert Thirsk vision to personalize and connect learning so that our students and staff can thrive.
